Today we have received these beautiful flowers and chocolates from Boston’s beautiful family for taking such good care of him but the truth is, it was our privilege to care for Boston ❤️

He came into our lives, trusted us and became such a special part of our days. We loved him, cared for him, fussed over him and made sure he felt safe and happy right until the very end. Losing him broke our hearts, he was deeply loved by all which made it so clear what a special boy he was.

Boston’s family, you really didn’t need to thank us. We would do it all again in a heartbeat. Caring for him was never just a job, he was apart of our family too ❤️

Thank you for trusting us with such a precious part of your family and for this incredibly thoughtful gesture, it was beautiful to share all our fond memories of him together ❤️

Do you love dogs, enjoy being active and want to turn your passion into a career? 🐶🌿
Leafields is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable apprentice to join our team!

🎓 Ideal for a school or college leaver

We’re looking for someone who is:
🐾 Positive, enthusiastic & has a “can-do” attitude
🐾 Confident handling a variety of dog breeds
🐾 Highly energetic, both physically & mentally
🐾 A great team player with good customer service skills
🐾 Reliable, trustworthy & self-motivated
🐾 Creative, with an interest in content creation/social media
🐾 Experienced with dogs — this must be clearly demonstrated on your application

🐕 THE APPRENTICESHIP

You’ll work towards a Level 2 Animal Care & Welfare Assistant Apprenticeship, supported by Leafields (www.leafields.co.uk) and KEITS Training Services Ltd (www.keits.co.uk)

📚 Duration: Minimum 12 months (typically 18 months)
📅 Start: October 2026
💷 Pay: Apprentice Rate of National Minimum Wage

🚗 Own transport due to our remote location/ Full UK driving licence preferred

🎓 Eligibility: Applicants must not already hold a Level 2 or higher qualification in Animal Care. Final eligibility will be confirmed by KEITS.
GCSE English & Maths are desirable but not essential.
