The temperature has dropped to 'dog friendly' and one of our favourites Barney Bernard came to visit, and like his human said he enjoyed 'just being'. It is very special to know that our woods can provide a safe space for dogs to enjoy a bit of off-lead fun, what ever that fun might be.

If you have a banned breed dog then please read the extra terms and conditions- that were added before the latest ban. If you do not then this will lead to us not being able to accept any banned breed dogs.
If your dog does a poo please take it away with you. If you see another poo- and you want to let me know - I will try to clear it up between walkers. Otherwise I check the area every morning for fence damage, holes that have been dug and missed poo. To me the holes and fence damage are the worst. We have a family that walks here who had a dog break his leg in a hole, not here, but it is extremely dangerous.
Lastly- timings. Please arrive on time- not early. And please, please be back in your car by the end of your slot. Your booking is for 1 hour that includes getting out of your car and getting back in.
Sorry for this -yesterday was quite the day.

Please, please take your poo bags away with you. One of my lovely walkers has picked up a few bags this morning, that (hopefully )we're left to be collected on the way back, but we're forgotten/missed. When you get home and you remember please let me know- it's horrible for the next walker to find, also the chairs are for people who need to sit down during the walk. Imagine having to move someone else's poo bags before sitting down....
I also found one during the week ( to be collected- but forgotten).

Unusually, we have some available slots here over the weekend. Its not too late to book for a walk in the woods! These three certainly enjoyed themselves.

One of our regular favourites- couldn't enjoy even the earliest/ latest walks in the last heatwave. The moment we knew the temperature was going to be around 15 we opened up and let this darling boy in for wander and a sniff.
