☀️ Hot Weather Update ☀️

Just a quick heads-up that some walks over the next week or two may need to be cancelled, shortened, or rearranged if temperatures become too high.
The safety and wellbeing of the dogs in my care will always come first, and walking in excessive heat can put them at risk of heat exhaustion and heatstroke.
I will keep a close eye on the forecast and contact affected clients as soon as possible if any changes are needed. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
Stay cool and give your pups an extra cuddle from me! 🐾❤️

📢 Out of Office Notice 📢

K8sK9s is now officially out of office and will be taking a short break. Any messages, enquiries, or bookings received during this time will be responded to after 16th June.
We'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of our wonderful clients for their continued custom, support, and trust in us. It truly means the world and allows us to do what we love every day.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while we're away. We look forward to seeing all of our amazing dogs and their humans when we're back!

Good morning everyone!

Just a quick notice, because of the heat tomorrow there will be NO WALKS.

I will be offering check ins for any dogs left home alone, but I will not be chancing any walks tomorrow.

Your dog will not die from missing a couple of walks, however it can die from one poorly timed walk resulting in heatstroke.

And if you don't believe me ring any vets in the area and ask how many dogs have been brought in with heat stroke since the weather has gotten hotter. Believe me you will be shocked.

We’ve been so busy keeping your pups happy and active that we’ve been forgetting to take photos 😅

Also, again, a reminder with the heat wave expected next week, walks and check-ins may be subject to change depending on temperatures. Anything above 20°C can be too hot for dogs, especially older dogs, flat-faced breeds and fluffy pups. Your dogs’ safety always comes first, so walks and check-ins may be shortened, moved to cooler times, or swapped for enrichment visits where needed.

NEXT WEEKS HEAT WAVE

Next week due to the soaring temperatures any day that reaches above 18 - 19 degrees i will be offering visits only.

IMPORTANT

If you are going to be at home it is imperative that you let me know ASAP so i can prioritise the dogs who have been left home alone.

Failure to inform me beforehand and i will cancel the walk/check in as it isn't fair on me or the other dogs.
