This week was Vinnie’s last day at The Barkery. He and his family are moving to the country side and we want to wish them all the luck in the world with their new adventure and upcoming wedding. We have loved every minute of looking after this crazy boy and all of us will miss him terribly.

Vinnie, have lots of fun running around in the endless fields and please when you are the ring barer for your parents do not get distracted like your brother did and go chasing after cows, sheep or any other kind of farm animal. Your parents do not want to chance you waving sausages while in their wedding attire 😂 👰 🤵

Over the years that we have been doing this we have had people ask us “do you use crates and leads to force downtime and rest?”
The answer has always been NO! We do not “force” rest, think about it if it’s “forced” then it’s not really rest. We do not crate them or put them on leads instead what we do is give our gang an environment that is happy and makes them feel comfortable and confident. When they feel comfortable and confident in their surroundings then they will feel confident enough to chill out and take a rest knowing that if they let their guard down for a bit they will be absolutely fine 😊
