Hope you are all keeping all cool as possible in this hot weather! ☀️

Remember to take plenty of extra precautions to keep our pets safe in this heat

✨ Avoid walking other than early morning and late evening
✨ Provide plenty of extra water
✨ Choose places to exercise where dogs can swim
✨ Wet towels in the cool can be super to lay down on!
✨ Add water to dry food to increase water intake

🐾Oggie, Oggie, Oggie, oi, oi, ouch!🐾

Dear Oggie was rushed into our super Truro team after having an serious accident and suffering significant injuries to his back legs.

However, he was treated quickly and with expertise and has now made a fantastic recovery!

A huge well done to Oggie and his owners for their care and trusting us to help this special boy 💙

This beautiful litter of pups came into us today for health checks, vaccination and microchips. One of them felt this was all rather boring...

We love being able to help such a super charity 💚

🐾Roqueforts Recovery 🐾

Roquefort was found out during the daytime and after assessment was found to have a fractured jaw. He was weak but resilient. Thanks to the skill of our Vet, his jaw was successfully wired under anaesthetic, as the fracture was not too complex.

After 6 weeks the wire was removed, and following a further week of recovery he was eating solid food and fit for release back into the wild 🦔💚

A huge thank you to the amazing team at St Clement Veterinary Clinic for their exceptional care and ongoing support, enabling us to maintain the highest welfare standards.

🐾 A big weight off Buddy's chest ❤️🐾

Gorgeous husky cross Buddy, had his turn being looked after by the super team at our Truro branch yesterday.

As a long standing doggy blood donor, Buddy has undoubtedly saved many lives in his time and today we were able to help his become a little more comfortable when we took a 500g tumor from his chest!

Thank you to his owners for trusting us with Bud today and for the fabulous stories about his life! Well done Buddy ❤️

🐾 Puppy parties are back!🐾

A 6 week course on a Thursday evening (start date tbc) held at the practice in Truro.

We will cover everything to get you and your puppy started on their journey into the big, wide world and how we can support them to be the best dogs they can be as adults.

Held by one of our veterinary care assistants who is qualified in animal behaviour and psychology.

Please do get in touch to be added to our waiting or for further information. Please note that any puppies wishing to start must have had their first vaccination and be over 8 weeks old.

💚 May is Veterinary nurse awareness month 💚 Celebrating the fantastic work our vet nurses do both in the clinic and behind the scenes. We have a wonderful team of registered nurses here who have a multitude of skills and specialties.

You may have met them at a nurse clinic or when admitting your pet for an op but please do comment below if you have something to celebrate about a vet nurse ✨

This weekend we’re incredibly proud to be supporting two very special marathon runners connected to our practice as they take on the London Marathon 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Heather is running to raise money for Children with Cancer UK, a wonderful charity dedicated to funding vital research and supporting children and families affected by childhood cancer.

At the same time, William, the son of our fantastic locum vet Amanda, is also running the marathon to raise funds for Vetlife, a charity that supports the mental health and wellbeing of the veterinary community.

Both of these charities are extremely close to our hearts and to the families involved, and we are so proud to see them taking on this incredible challenge.
