NJC Animal Refuge We understand the struggles of local animal rescues with an ever increasing number of animals needing help.

Rescues run at full capacity, sometimes having to turn down animals in need due to no space or resources available.

Pumpkin arrived with the worst flea burden I have come across 💔 Thankfully, she has tolerated soaks in the bath and lots of flea combing!
She has been checked over at the vet. Pumpkin does have a protruding sternum, but it doesn't cause her any issues.
She's such a sweet young cat. She will be spayed soon ❤️🐾

We collected another, 'wedding dove' at the weekend. 🕊
Wedding doves are not able to live in the wild, they lack basic survival skills and have very little flying endurance.
We are in the midst of converting a shed and attaching a safe outside area to it.
Any help appreciated 🔨 ⚒️ 😍
If you spot a white dove that seems 'tame', please contact a rescue 🙏
