Rescues run at full capacity, sometimes having to turn down animals in need due to no space or resources available.

This is a begging post 🙏
We are at the vet every day this week for;
*2 cat spays - done yesterday
*1 cat neuter - happening today
*1 cat neuter - booked for tomorrow
*1 dog neuter - pre op check this afternoon
*Post op checks Thursday and Friday
*Flea and worm treatment for cats
**Cost approximately £1100**
The rescue needs to find around £500 this week.
Nikki is working a lot to pay the shortfall of the vet bills and for the cat food, but rasing the funds would be amazing!

*Kittens were born here on Saturday. Mum and kittens doing well.
*3 out of the 5 wild baby rabbits have survived.
* A new cat arrived over the weekend, pregnant, full of ticks and fleas and very underweight. No chip and has been straying for a while.

This month we have had;
5 more wild baby rabbits to hand rear 🐇
2 un-neutered male cats - Booked for neutering next week 🐈‍⬛️ both have been flea and worm treated. One had a huge trailing mat that we managed to shave off. He is recovering from sunburn and is on pain relief.
1 Mini Poodle - Booked for neutering next week 🐕 he has had a bath and trim 😊
1 Un-spayed female - Booked for spay next week 🐈 has been flea and worm treated
1 Pregnant female - Currently in labour 🐈

We are grateful to Sue Jones for running our mini auction and for Hana Holden of Rosalie Farm Fun Dog Shows, who ran an amazing dog show in April. Both of these events helped to raise much needed funds for us 🥰

Playtime 🥰

Ronnie and Reggie were born on the 4th January 2026 in Greater Manchester.

They are three quarters Staffordshire Bull Terrier and a quarter American Bulldog.

Both pups were born with Micropthalmia. Ronnie may have a little sight, Reggie is completely blind. Neither have the faintest idea; they are loving life and ready to be adopted!

This big, beautiful girl arrived last week 🐾❤️

Day 12 of growing the wild baby rabbits! Talk about hard work 😳 with a 10% survival rate of hand rearing them so young, we are proud to have got them this far!
One of the babies dropped out of a digger bucket when the digger was clearing a building site and their nest was found. Attempts were made to wait for the mother. A team of wildlife volunteers asked us to take them and arranged for the rabbits to be transported to us.
3 out of the 4 are thriving and mostly eating solids now, 1 is very slow and still relying on just milk.
We'll keep going, then start the process of soft releasing them to the wild.
They are extremely cute, but every effort has been made to keep them wild with minimal contact 🐇 ❤️
