Cornwall's Hound Retreat is set within 100 acres of rolling farmland and woodland bordering the St Allen River, 6 miles from Truro and 6 miles from the North coast. With an abundance of walks and so very close to the beach, your dog will be spoilt for choice. We offer tailored packages to suit each dog and owner. Holiday stays, this can be just for one night or much longer periods if required. Ful

Today I have received messages from previous clients.
Ruby Prowse has made contact with them, as she is opening a dog boarding and day care establishment at Roskief, St Allen, Truro - Cornwalls Hound Heritage.

I must assure you I have not passed on any of your private contact details and I am not in anyway connected with this business.
I previously owned and ran Cornwalls Hound Retreat at the same address, it was a huge success, built on passion and exemplary canine care.
I have made fabulous friendships and have very fond memories of you and your dogs.
Thank you for the being part of CHR, it holds a special place in my heart. ❤️

I'm just sat here looking through CHR photos, messages and comments.

You have no idea how much I miss you all and your gorgeous doggies 🧡

CHR was my passion, not just an income.
Unfortunately I still have no idea re opening our doors.
The legal system is a lengthy and slow process. Getting divorced is a whole lot slower than getting married lol!!

But when I can re open. I will be shouting from the roof tops.

As you are aware, the 1st March 2022 is our last day of opening.
This is a temporary closure and I will be back with a bang.🧡
I would be very grateful indeed, if all payments could be transferred by the 2nd March 2022 please. There are still several outstanding since 21st January 2022?
The council are placing the licence on hold and insurance will cease.

Once again thankyou for allowing CHR to flourish.

You really are the best clients with the best dogs.

🌟🌟ANNOUNCEMENT 🌟🌟

It is with a very heavy heart I must announce the closure of Cornwall’s Hound Retreat.

Due to sad personal circumstances, I will no longer reside at Roskief.
However once I am able to do so, I will re open at my new home and welcome you and your dogs with open arms.
Cornwall Hound Retreat is only what it is because of you. You are not just clients, you have become friends. I am truly thankful to you all.

We will remain open until the 1st March 2022.
Any bookings after this date will have all deposits fully refunded. I am so so very sorry but this is out of my hands.
Please do get intouch via messenger and provide BACS details and I will process for you.
Any daycare until this date please continue to contact Ruby Prowse 07551388416.

Thankyou for the love, fun, friendship and most recently your kindness. I am immensely grateful.

But CHR will be back. I promise!

Morning all. Thankyou for all being so understanding in our unannounced closure of CHR.

CHR will be open on Monday 31st January. Doggy day care will only be available, no boarding.

1st of March CHR will carry on as normal both day care and boarding.
