🌸 SPRING GARDEN WARNING 🌸
As the weather warms up and we start heading into the garden, please keep a close eye on your furry friends! Many of our favourite spring blooms are actually toxic to pets if nibbled on. 🐾
Be extra careful with:
🌷 Tulips & Hyacinths: The bulbs are the most concentrated part, causing drooling, vomiting, or heart issues.
🌼 Daffodils: Even the water in a vase of daffodils can be toxic!
💐 Lilies: Highly dangerous—especially for cats. Even a tiny bit of pollen can cause kidney failure.
🌿 Crocuses: Can cause severe stomach upset or even organ damage.
Symptoms to watch for:
Vomiting or diarrhea
Lethargy or weakness
Excessive drooling
Loss of appetite
If you suspect your pet has eaten something they shouldn't, contact the practice immediately for advice from our team.
