Well……that was quite possibly the best fun I’ve had in a while! Our first team chase with Carolyn Northcote Monro and Poppy! Not sure how we survived the busiest warm up arena I’ve ever experienced but we did and went on to come 3rd place out of 29 teams!
Jimmy was AMAZING and massive thanks to for letting me ride him 😍

A very hard decision to end the journey with the amazing Theo. He has given me so much more than I ever thought I’d achieve but it feels like the right time to stop. A huge thank you to his owner Heidi Chilvers for giving me the opportunity to compete again and for being a huge support. We’ve made some great memories to last a lifetime…….. 😍

Great week of teaching and riding! Star of the week is Grace and her fab pony, Twirly! Grace was incredibly nervous in lesson 1 and really didn’t want to canter. Fast forward to lesson 4 and they’re jumping a little course of 3 fences IN CANTER!!!!
Such a quiet, sympathetic rider for her age……can’t wait to support her through her progress! 😍

It was a hot Area Festival!!!!!! Theo warmed up lovely and I decided not to push and ask for more due to the heat! A ‘nice’ test that left us all happy resulted in 10th place in the Elementary silver section. Lots of cold showers for us both.
I definitely think horses are acclimatising to the hot weather and coping better than we anticipate.

We had a great jump lesson last weekend with Fred Hodges Training Lots to learn about taking the handbrake off, not micro managing and keeping a balanced rhythm to the fence 🥰🥰
