At Woof ‘N’ Tales Doggy Daycare, we’re passionate about creating a safe, fun and loving environment for every dog in our care - and we’re excited to be offering a new placement opportunity for a young person aged 16–19 through the Jobs Growth Wales+ programme in partnership with Itec Skills and Employment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves animals, enjoys being active and wants to gain valuable hands-on experience within the pet care industry.
As part of the placement, you’ll have the opportunity to: 🐕 Support our team with supervised play sessions
🐾 Assist with doggy daycare and enrichment activities
🦴 Help maintain clean and safe play areas
🐶 Learn about dog behaviour, routines and daily care
💼 Build confidence, communication and workplace skills.
We’re looking for someone who is:
✔ Reliable and enthusiastic
✔ Comfortable around dogs of all breeds and sizes
✔ Willing to learn as part of a supportive team
✔ Passionate about animal care
Through the Jobs Growth Wales+ programme, learners can also benefit from:
✅ £60 weekly training allowance

✅ Food allowance available
✅ Maths & English qualifications up to Level 2
✅ Dedicated wellbeing and mentor support
