Excellent canine first aid course today! Pushed me out my comfort zone as I hate role play, but was actually fab and really got me thinking about how I would manage a situation with your dogs’ while out and about.

This is exactly what we do here. Ok our walks and morning time outdoors is usually 1.5hour minimum (apart from in this heat) up to sometimes 3+hours mooching in the fields. And another 30-60mins in the afternoon.
But the rest of the time it’s rest, snuggled on the sofa with me or a bed in a private corner if that’s what they prefer.
I don’t have them “enriched” all day or going home dead on their feet / overstimulated.
I know some daycares advertise that but I think a normal natural amount of exercise and rest - like they’d have at home is best - after all they are already getting extra stimulation from being around a pack of dogs.
