🚲 WE STRUGGLE TO DO 5 MILES ON A BIKE… NEVER MIND ALMOST 2400km! 🤯
Ask us to cycle to the next village? Absolutely not.
Ask us to stand grooming dogs for hours on end? Weirdly... that's our cardio. 🐶✂️
While Tommy Hastie is pedalling all the way from Musselburgh to Benidorm to raise money and awareness for mental health, we'll be over here doing what we actually have a talent for... making scruffy dogs look fabulous. 💅🐾
This one means a lot to us. Mental health isn't just "someone else's cause" it's part of our lives. We live with it, we've seen the impact it can have, and we know just how important it is to talk, to check in on each other, and to remind people they're never facing it alone. That's exactly why we're so proud to support this challenge. 💛
Now, let's be honest...
We'd be out of breath before the warm-up.
We'd need a lie down by the first hill.
And we'd be Googling "nearest chippy" before we'd even left Scotland. 😂
So here's our part in all this...
🐾 £1 from EVERY dog groomed while he's on the road goes straight to his fundraiser.
💅 Nail clips are PAY WHAT YOU WANT - every single penny goes towards supporting his mental health mission.
No Lycra.
No padded shorts.
No suspiciously tiny bicycle seats.
Just clippers, wagging tails, flying fur, and a salon full of people cheering him on from a safe distance... preferably with a brew in hand. ☕😂
He's doing the impossible.
We're doing what we do best.
He rides 2400km. We'll groom every dog we can to help get him there.
Because mental health matters.
Because asking for help is strength.
Because so many of us are fighting battles nobody else can see.
And because nobody should ever have to face those battles alone. 💛
