🚨 Abandoned Puppies 🚨

Its not our usual rehoming post, but sadly we have taken on a litter of Terrier type puppies (potentially mixed with dachshund)

Two male, three females that have been dumped in a crate.

They have had a health check and are healthy other than a worm burden which they’ve been treated for.

They are:

🐢 Wormed and flead
🐢 Microchipped
🐢 Vaccinated

Adoption fee and home check applies. 🏠

NB: the circumstances are being followed up by the RSPCA

**ALL SORTED THANK YOU!**

🐐 CAN YOU HELP OUR GOATS? 🐐

Our goats absolutely LOVE sitting up on their platform, especially when they want to survey everything that’s going on around the sanctuary! πŸ₯°

Unfortunately, the platform can become really slippery during the winter months, so we’d love to put some roof felt on it to give them a bit more grip and make it safer for them.

If anyone has any offcuts of roof felt (new or left overs) to help us make their favourite spot safer and more comfortable, we’d huge appreciate it. If you are able to donate some, please get in touch with us!

It will make Martha, Mabel and Bluebelle very happy 🐐🀍

Thank you in advance!

It’s the small wins 🀍

Thank you so much to everyone who has donated, shared her story and supported Daisy so far. Your kindness is helping us give her the care she needs. πŸ‘

Daisy update:
After what has been an incredibly worrying 10 days of illness, we finally have a little positive update about our beautiful Daisy. πŸ₯Ή

She has been up and down all week in terms of progress and is still very weak on her legs and has a long way to go, but this afternoon she started walking again! πŸ₯°πŸΎ

This might seem like a small step, but for us it’s a HUGE milestone after everything she has been through. She is still requiring a lot of TLC and we’ve been frequently checking in with the vets and giving antibiotics, pain relief and steroids, but she is showing us that she’s still fighting. πŸ™

We’re taking every day as it comes and hoping this is the beginning of Daisy’s road to recovery.

If anyone would like to donate for her care, our JustGiving page is here:

Hello everyone, we need your help!

Daisy has been one of our much-loved long term residents for over 5 years and has recently been diagnosed with Blue Tongue, which has made her very lethargic and struggle to ambulate herself.

Daisy is currently requiring lots nursing care, with our dedicated volunteers monitoring her closely, and providing the supportive care she needs and making sure she is as comfortable as possible.

She has also been requiring frequent veterinary visits and ongoing treatment, which is quickly adding to her veterinary costs.

We are doing everything we possibly can to give Daisy the best chance of pulling through. If you can spare a few pounds, it really could make a difference to Daisy and help us continue to provide the care she so desperately needs.

Please donate if you can, or share Daisy’s appeal and help us give this special girl the best possible chance. πŸ‘πŸ’™

Thank you, as always, for supporting us and the animals in our care. We couldn’t do what we do without you. ❀️

IΚΌm raising money to πŸ‘ Help Daisy Fight Blue Tongue Disease. Support this JustGiving Crowdfunding Page.

πŸ₯Ί We are still waiting for our forever home, we are very sad that no one has wanted to adopt us yet.

😻 We are fun to be around, love to sit on laps, we love our dog friend Archie and get along just fine with the resident cats 😸

πŸŽ… Yes we know it's far to early to talk about Christmas but our rescue stops rehoming at the beginning of December, so time is running out for us to be in our new home for Christmas πŸ₯ΊπŸŽ„

πŸ–€πŸ€ Elton and George are still looking for their forever home πŸ–€πŸ€

😻 They are playful, loving, friendly and a little bit cheeky.

πŸˆβ€β¬›πŸˆβ€β¬› The brothers love to play fight but they also love to curl up together.

πŸ• Elton and George get along fine with my cat friendly dog.

🫢 With Elton and George you will get double the love and fun.

πŸ΄πŸ’š A HUGE thank you to Crown Oil! πŸ’šπŸ΄

A massive thank you to the team at Crown Oil Ltd for spending their volunteering day with us last week! 🐾

They worked incredibly hard in the pouring rain helping us clean out the barn and put away all the stalls and equipment from our Open Day. It was a huge job, and their help made such a difference! πŸ™Œ

We’re so grateful for your time, hard work and support for our charity and all the animals in our care. ❀️
