🐾 OUR DIARY IS OPEN AGAIN FOR NEW DOGS! 🐾

After a very long spell of having our books closed due to being so busy, we’re now finally in a position to welcome some new faces (and waggy tails!) to Kat and Dogs! 🥰

We’ll be taking bookings on a first come, first served basis, as we expect to have quite an influx of enquiries, so if you’ve been waiting for us to reopen our diary, now is the time to get in touch! ❤️

For those who don’t know much about us, we offer home from home dog boarding in our own home in Torrington. Your dog will be staying with me (Kat), my husband Dean, our two dogs Scout & Lola, and our newest addition, our baby boy Jax. 👶🐶

Because we’re a family home with other dogs, any dogs boarding with us must:
🐾 Be confident and comfortable around young children
🐾 Be happy living alongside other dogs
🐾 Be over 1 year old
🐾 Be neutered if male (we don't board entire males)
🐾 Be fully up to date with vaccinations
🐾 Have up to date flea and worming treatment

Most importantly, we want every dog who stays with us to feel safe, settled and completely at home. We treat every dog like one of our own and they’ll get plenty of love, attention, cuddles and fuss while you’re away. ❤️

🐶 NEW DOGS – TRIAL NIGHT REQUIRED

For all new dogs, we require a trial night before any holiday booking. This gives us the opportunity to make sure your dog is happy and comfortable staying in our home, and that they’re a good fit for our little family and any other dogs staying with us.

The availability calendar is back!

After taking some time off to settle into life with our now not-so-little baby boy Jax, we’re really looking forward to welcoming back all our lovely regular boarding dogs 🐾

We’ve got some availability this month and into June for both boarding and daycare. If you’d like to book in, just drop us a message 😊

I have approximately 3,000 photos of your dogs… and have posted… none of them 🤣

I fully intend to post updates every day, but somehow the photos just live their best life in my camera roll while I’m busy with walks, feeds, zoomies and cuddles 🐾😂

So if you’re wondering why you haven’t seen your dog on my page yet… don’t worry, they’re thriving I’m just rubbish at actually posting the evidence 🤦🏼‍♀️

One day I’ll get organised…maybe...

Only 3 weeks to go until we’re back open! 🎉

Things will look a little different going forward as we settle into life with our newest addition, Jax 💙

🐾 Reduced boarding spaces
We’ve reduced the number of dogs we board from 4 to 3. This allows us to achieve our 5-star licence and continue providing the highest standard of care. Spaces will fill much faster, so we strongly recommend booking in advance.

💰 Price update
After two years of welcoming dogs into our home, we’ve made a small price adjustment to keep in line with other local boarders:
• £35 per night
• £30 for daycare
We’ll always aim to remain as affordable as possible while maintaining the quality of care your dogs deserve.

👨‍👩‍👦 Family time
With our little boy here and family not being local, we’ll also be taking one weekend off each month to make special memories together.

Planned time off:
• April – 11th & 12th
• June – 5th to 14th
• July – 18th & 19th, 30th & 31st
• August – 1st & 2nd
• September – 26th & 27th
• October – TBC
• November – TBC
• December – 5th & 6th, 24th–31st

We can’t wait to welcome all our lovely dogs back very soon 🐶✨

Our boarding licence has been renewed for another 3 years 🥳

We are VERY pleased (and just a little bit proud) to announce we are now officially a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-star rated home boarding facility!

Please note we are still not taking bookings for dogs who haven’t stayed with us before… so if your dog has holidayed with us in the past, congratulations — you are part of our very exclusive, highly prestigious, totally-not-made-up VIP club 😂

We are currently closed while I’m on maternity leave, but we will be taking boarding bookings from March 16th onwards.

Thank you for all your lovely messages, gifts and cards for our new arrival, he's truly one spoiled boy!
The last few weeks have absolutely flown by and we are looking forward to our first Christmas with Jaxson 🥰
Missing all the doggies lots and can't wait for them to meet our boy!
