🐾 A Little Patience Goes a Long Way 🐾

Today I dropped a dog home to one of my customers. Unfortunately, parking outside their home is extremely difficult in a long-wheelbase Transit, so I did what I always do – pulled up with my hazard lights on and safely handed the dog over to the owner, who was already waiting at the door.

Before I'd even had chance to stop properly, a driver behind me started sounding their horn. After I'd handed the dog over, they then directed abusive language at my customer.
Please remember, dog walkers and pet transporters aren't parked for convenience. We may be: 🐶 Returning a dog from a walk. 🏥 Bringing a poorly dog home from the vets. 🌈 Returning a beloved pet's ashes to their family. 🚐 Transporting animals safely to where they need to be.

Sometimes we have no choice but to stop briefly where parking is limited. We do our best to be as quick and considerate as possible.
Next time you see a dog walker or pet transporter with their hazard lights on, please give them a moment. That few seconds of patience could make a huge difference to an animal and their owner

🚨 Witness Appeal – Hit & Run 🚨

Yesterday at approximately 10:40am, I was involved in a hit and run with two other vehicles.
I was the third vehicle in the queue. The second vehicle collided with the first vehicle, then rolled back into the front of my van. The first driver pulled forward to a safe place, but the second vehicle drove through a red light and left the scene, leaving me stuck at the traffic lights.
When the lights changed, I pulled in outside Kwik Fit to check the damage and see where the other driver had gone. I spoke to a gentleman who was walking along the pavement by the flats opposite Kwik Fit. Unfortunately, due to the shock, I didn't get his contact details before he left.
The collision happened on the bend after the police station up a slight hill at them traffic lights.

I've since been in contact with the first driver, whose car has suffered both internal and external damage. The police have been informed.
If you were the gentleman I spoke to, or if you witnessed the collision and have any information, please could you get in touch with me. Any help would be greatly appreciated, particularly to assist the first driver, as I don't believe the second driver intends to come forward.

🐾 Vet Trip for Ollie 🐾

On Friday, I had the pleasure of taking the lovely Ollie to the vets for a check-up after he started showing some stiffness in his back legs due to arthritis.

The good news is that he's come home with some new pain relief, so we're hoping he'll be much more comfortable and back to enjoying life. ❤️
Ollie will be having regular vet visits from now on, which means I get to spend more time with this handsome, happy boy. Wishing you lots of pain-free adventures ahead, Ollie! 🐶🐾💙
