Fordhouse Cosmo

Bay dun roan Shetland gelding, Shetland Society reg, 3 years old & approx 32". Vacc, chipped, wormed, trimmed. Good for feet, groom, tie, lead and load. Excellent conformation, paces and temperament.

Cosmo is a loving, sweet and genuine boy. He recently went to his first show and placed in a good sized class against bigger ponies, he behaved perfectly all day we couldn't have asked for more. Cosmo can be a sensitive boy, so he requires quiet, consistant handling. He has lived in gelding only turnout with us, but seems fine with the mares on the yard.

We would like to find him a position for life, showing or driving would be ideal for him. Full information available to interested viewers, & vet record open to view, vetting welcome, no health issues. SA clear. More pictures/videos on request. Based near Shebbear, Devon. Low 🥕🥕🥕🥕

Today we took Treetops Creme Brulee (CoKo) to Totnes show, for the open driving class. As always, she was perfect, we weren't the judges cup of tea today, but came away with 3rd place.

Last weekend, we took Treetops Creme Brulee (CoKo) to Liskead show. She came in 5th place in the driving class and got two seconds in the long reining classes. She behaved amazingly the whole day, as always. Thankfully, there was a really good breeze on the showground.

Recently we took Fordhouse Cosmo and Kalipso Sunset Bliss to a local show for the experience. This was Cosmo's first show, and Bliss's third show. Both ponies behaved perfectly, we couldn't have asked for more. Both ponies got rosettes, which was an added bonus.

Fordhouse Cosmo is currently looking for a new home.

Cramar Hartington (Duke) 1998 - 2026

The loss of Duke truly marked the end of an era, as he was sire to most of our foals. He was the perfect stallion for us when we were starting out, and he was always my best boy. Much missed.

Miss Varkie and CoKo did their final Indoor Carriage Driving competition of the season last weekend. It went really well for them both, they got their best ever dressage score and CoKo went amazingly in the cones and obstacles as well!

With yesterday's result, it's official that they have qualified for the National Championships! Although they won't be able to go this year, it's a big achievement. We're so proud of both Miss Varkie and CoKo. ❤️

Last Sunday, Miss Varkie and Mr Varkie went out to the Indoor Carriage Driving Qualifiers at Duchy College. They both had a good day, and are already looking forward to the next one. In the end, they came away with a final score of 86.8%, which is over 75% - one of the requirements you need to qualify for the national championships.
