🐾🐾 Well last year we planeted a Victoria plum tree. Last night we found out badgers like them…. Very very very much. Between 8.30pm and 5.30am all but 7 of the nearly rip plums were eaten. They must of eaten more than 50 plums over night 😳😳😳😂😂 🐾🐾

Making sure your dog is within the right weight range for their breed, age and s*x is really important – and can affect their life expectancy, mobility and comfort. Looking after your dog’s weight means that you are feeding a good diet and exercising regularly – both of which have a knock-on effect on their entire well-being: coat condition, organ health, eyes, teeth, breath and joints. Here are a few tips that you can do to check if your pet is at the right weight:

1) The rib check. Run your fingers along their ribs – can you count them fairly easily? If not, they might be overweight.

2) The spine check. Can you feel their spine from top to bottom? If not, they might be carrying some excess weight.

3) The waist check. When you look down from above, can you see a waistline, nipping in slightly? If there is no waist, your pet might be overweight.

Charlie is very happy with his early morning walk. The grass is wet with morning dew and I on the longer side his favourite 🐾🐾

Just thought I would post this. I’ve just come back from today’s deliveries and still seeing people out walking their dogs. The tarmac/pavements are so hot and will burn the pads never mind heatstroke. Charlie was walked just after 5am this morning and will be the same tomorrow, he hasn’t missed his afternoon walk 🐾🐾

I was a bit late putting some food out for the badgers tonight, although nice to watch them come into the garden as soon as I came back up 🦡 🦡

I hope everyone has had a lovely Easter Bank Holiday Weekend. Just to share, it was lovely to have some time off today to take Charlie for a walk where I used to go when I was a teenager. Very lucky to grow up in such a lovely area. Great to switch off and just remember some good memories. 11 miles and four hours later, I’m gonna suffer tomorrow 🐾🐾
