Good Morning Everyone,
We are aware of the post on a local Torpoint page stating that there is broken plastic in the field. For some reason, the settings on the post don’t allow us to comment.
Unfortunately, somebody allowed their dog to destroy and chew all of our dog jumps and equipment. This is very disappointing and means small pieces of plastic could cause harm for dogs if they pick it up and swallow it. We have been up to the field on 2 separate occasions to clear this mess and we have also had some kind customers who have helped to do this too.
We are also aware that many users continue to leave their dog poo and other waste in the field. We do pick up as much of it as we can and again, we have some very kind customers who also help us to do this. As we have mentioned before, the council will not install a dog poo bin at the site so it remains the dog walkers’ responsibility to pick up their own dog litter. Please remember the field is not a manned site so all users must take responsibility and follow the booking terms and conditions.
The grass is due to be cut as soon as the weather allows. It needs to be dry to do this which is challenging at this time of year! We will update the social media pages when we have been able to cut it.
We make a big effort to respond to all customer queries and feedback via email and social media. Sometimes emails land in the junk/spam folder and sometimes our replies land in your junk/spam folder so please always check these. We appreciate all your comments and suggestions and we thank you for taking the time to get in contact.
We would like to thank all of our customers for continuing to support us and a special thank you goes out to those who go above and beyond to clear up after others. We love being able to provide this facility and hope to keep it going for as long as possible. We hope to see you and your dogs again soon!
