Meet Pixie & her friends! 🐭🐭🐭🐭🐭

Five charming little ladies full of personality — confident explorers and gentle observers alike. They’re a close group and must be rehomed together. Active, curious, and ready to explore, they’ll need a spacious home with plenty of hiding spots, bedding, and toys.

Watch the video to see them in action!

Do you have a safe outdoor space — perhaps a yard, smallholding, stable, or workshop — that could offer a home to a more independent feline?

From time to time, we have cats in our care who are looking for an outdoor-style home 🐈‍⬛ — somewhere they can enjoy their freedom while still having a cosy place to shelter and a caring human looking out for them.

If you think you could offer this kind of setup, we’d love to hear from you! 💙

📧 Simply email us at [email protected] to register your interest for future cats in need.

Wow — thank you from Blue Cross Thirsk! 🐾💙

We’ve been overwhelmed by your generosity and support. Because of this, we are now overflowing with blankets, knitted cat blankets, and dog beds and unfortunately can’t accept any more right now.

If you’d still like to help, we’d really appreciate it if you could take a look at our Amazon Wish List for other items we need 🐶🐱

🩵We’re reaching out from Blue Cross Thirsk to ask for support in caring for the small animals in our rescue, including hamsters, mice, and chinchillas. 🐹🐭

Despite their size, they need specialist care such as quality food, safe bedding, and enrichment to keep them happy while they wait for their forever homes. These costs quickly add up, and we rely on the generosity of our community. 🐀🐇

Any donation, big or small, would make a real difference. We have included the link to our Amazon Wishlist with the items we need. If you can’t donate, sharing this post would help us greatly.

💙🐾PET OF THE WEEK 🐾💙

Roxy and Bello are a gentle, sweet pair of 3 year 1 month old Domestic Shorthairs looking for a calm, patient home where they can build trust and feel safe. Both are a little shy at first, but with time their lovely personalities shine through.

Roxy is the more confident one and is starting to show her curious side. She enjoys gentle fuss and will happily relax for quiet cuddles once settled. Bello is more reserved and prefers to take things at his own pace, needing patience and understanding as he gains confidence.

They’d suit a peaceful home with older children and would like to be the only pets. Together, they’ll thrive in a loving, quiet environment. 🐾🏡

🩵 With a little love and patience, these two will reward you with a lifetime of quiet companionship and trust.

🌟🐴Calling Yorkshire horse community🐴🌟
We are looking to recruit Horse Foster Yards in Yorkshire (ideally within one hour of Richmond or Huddersfield). This will help us achieve our goal of helping more horses in the area, reducing their travel time and therefore improving their welfare.

This is a volunteer opportunity where you will temporarily care for Blue Cross horses at your own property/yard whilst they wait for their new home. Blue Cross will cover the costs of all vets, farrier and worming costs, as well as additional feed and bedding where this is required.

Our ideal Foster yard will need to have a good working knowledge and experience of horse care, health, behaviour and have great communication skills.

Please share, or if you think this is the role for you, please apply via the link below ⬇
