We just wanted to take a moment to say a huge THANK YOU to all of our wonderful new followers, loyal customers and everyone who regularly comes to visit us. Your support truly means the world to us!

Supporting local businesses is so important, especially at this time of year when things can start to become a little quieter. Every visit, coffee, treat and share on social media makes such a difference to small local businesses like ours.

Due to the weather, our Marketing Manager won’t be joining us today for filming, so unfortunately our planned filming session won’t be going ahead. We do apologise for any inconvenience!

The good news is that The Pup Cup is still open as usual, so please do pop in, escape the weather and enjoy a lovely coffee and cake.

Very important for any dog owners feeding their dogs “Years”. Please read…

🚨 IMPORTANT PET FOOD RECALL – YEARS DOG FOOD 🚨

‼️We want to make our clients aware of the voluntary recall of Years fresh dog food in the UK.

Years has recalled its fresh meals following reports of dogs developing keratoconjunctivitis sicca (KCS), commonly known as dry eye. The potential link between the food and these cases is currently being investigated.

If your dog eats Years food:
❌ Stop feeding Years immediately, even if your dog currently appears completely well.
❌ Do not give the food to another pet or donate it.
✅ Contact Years regarding the recall and disposal/collection of the food.
✅ Introduce an alternative complete diet.

Please contact us promptly if your dog has been eating Years and you notice any eye problems, particularly:
• Red or inflamed eyes
• Squinting or keeping the eyes closed
• Increased blinking
• Excessive or thick/mucoid discharge
• Cloudiness or a change in the appearance of the eyes
• Signs of eye pain or discomfort

Dry eye can be painful and, if severe or untreated, can result in corneal ulceration and permanent damage to vision, so please don't wait for symptoms to worsen.

If your pet has been fed Years food and you are concerned, please contact the practice for advice.
