☀️ Hot weather warning ☀️

Brachycephalic breeds such as Bulldogs, French Bulldogs and Pugs are at much higher risk of heatstroke in warm weather due to their shortened airways.

Please think carefully before travelling in the heat and ask yourself if your vet visit is 100% necessary right now. Unnecessary journeys can put your pet at risk.

⚠️ Signs of heatstroke include:
• Excessive panting
• Heavy drooling
• Red gums
• Lethargy
• Vomiting or collapse

If you are worried, call us first for advice. Heatstroke is an emergency. 🐾
