🥰25/7 - LYRA IS SAFE - secured by her owner following a sighting 🥰

LYRA, an EXTREMELY NERVOUS rescue dog, escaped from her sitters home in Tunbridge Wells on 14th July 2026. She is not familiar with the area 😕

LYRA is NOT to be approached, called or pressured in any way - she is scared and will bolt away FAST - we need her to calm and settle for either her owner to secure her, or to be safely trapped.

If you see her, note the following and call/message us asap:
📆 DATE
⏰ TIME (exact time if possible or AM/PM)
📍 LOCATION (pinpoint on map)
🧭DIRECTION HEADED (nearest landmark)
🐕BEHAVIOUR (walking, running, nervous, calm, sniffing, did they stay in the area? How long?)
📸GET A PHOTO (for ID) if you possibly can

I have made the difficult decision to cancel all walks over the coming week.

This is not a decision I've taken lightly, it is a large financial loss, but with temperatures forecast to reach the high 20's early in the day, combined with the humidity, I feel it is not safe to walk dogs in these conditions.

Even early in the morning, temperatures are expected to climb rapidly.

As always, your dog’s welfare is my top priority.

For dogs who would usually be left home alone during the day, pop-in visits have been arranged, and I have space for additional pop-ins if needed.

I will continue monitoring the forecasts throughout the week, and if temperatures change significantly, I will review arrangements accordingly.

Thank you all for your understanding, support and flexibility. The wellbeing of your dogs will always come before profits, schedules or convenience.

I'm sure many of you have seen the post of the missing dog, Hunter. PLEASE SHARE THIS POST! 🙏

Here is some more information from the family, who are dear family friends of mine!

Please, if any of my followers are in or near Wadhurst and fancy an Autumn walk, keep your eyes peeled for Hunter and report any sightings to the numbers listed, please do not try to catch him, just report. ❤️🥹

Fingers crossed he will be found soon!

-Went missing in Eridge Park

-Positive sighting on Best Beech Hill, Wadhurst

-He is wearing a brown collar.

-He is in flight mode and is super friendly

-No chasing, just try and keep him in your sights.. drones are going to be helping too.
