🍂 AUGUST - Invoices have been emailed this evening.

🍁 SEPTEMBER - Is due to be an incredibly busy month for me. Lots of small animal holiday care, new faces joining the gang, and some additional walks for regular doggos!

Just 6 days in the whole month I don’t have any work booked! You’ll see me with a coffee in hand and probably some sunglasses to hide my tired eyes! 😥 Please bear with me with admin and replies to messages.

On my way back from a dog walk this evening.. I noticed this beautiful little Robin was sat in the road.
Of course I couldn’t just drive on.. so I stopped and scooped it up.
We sat for a few moments on the grass verge, just being in each others company, wondering if it would take flight.
Sadly not 🥺

After calling the vets they suggested taking to a garden, offering water and keeping everything crossed.
Our garden isn’t ideal as we are having building work done. I knocked on a door and a wonderful lady answered. We took the bird to the bottom of her garden into the wooded area, with a shallow tray of water nearby. Hopefully this little poppet regains some strength and feels brave enough to fly on. 🤞

No matter what the animal, or time of day, I will always go above and beyond to ensure they get to safety and are cared for.

Does anyone else think that Robins are special? ✨

Life is very busy at the moment. Toddler mum, building work, trying to run 2 business’ oh and the general life admin that comes with being an adult! 🤯 I’m doing my best to juggle everything.

I will be on admin this afternoon 🤞 as I have new cats and dogs to add to the system, appointments to add on, and messages to reply to.

🐈 😔 SAD POST 😔 🐈

I have just collected a deceased ginger tabby young cat off the road between Alne and Easingwold.
This poor thing had been posted on a few pages and was still laying in the road.

As a kitty owner myself, and crazy cat lady!! I just couldn’t settle knowing that, so I bundled Elke-Rose into the van. We wrapped the cat in a towel and took it to the vets for scanning.
Even though this cat is likely feral, I think they all deserve a little dignity for their final journey over rainbow bridge.

I know she’s too young to understand but on the journey we chatted (mainly me!) about the cat and said “bye bye”. Unfortunately children cannot be protected from everything, so having an understanding and knowledge is how we will try and teach her. Thank you as always to Galtres Vets for taking this kitty in.

Hug your babies extra tight tonight, I know I will be ☺️ 🐈 🐈‍⬛
