Rest assured, we’re poking them daily with a very pointy stick. Your patience means everything while we drag them into the land of urgency.

£9 per day parking!!! At this point I’m not running a small business, I’m competing in an extreme sport. How do other businesses make this work — do they:

Sell a kidney?

Take out a parking mortgage?

Start a side hustle renting out their own driveway?

Todmorden: where the parking costs more than your lunch, your dignity, and sometimes your actual stock.

Meanwhile I’m here counting 20p pieces like it’s 1998.
