🌈 Thank you to all that have shared we have managed to locate the owner of this beautiful dog ❤️

In the early hours of this morning a young small/medium, black & white terrier-type dog has been involved in a road traffic accident in the Wigbeth area (Horton Road) and sadly has passed away. They were brought into us by a kind member of the public. 🐾🤍

The dog is microchipped, and we have made attempts to contact the registered owner, but unfortunately, we have not had any luck so far.

🙏 If you think this could be your dog, or you know someone who may be missing a dog matching this description, please get in touch with us as soon as possible.

🐾 MEET SAMMIE – OUR NEWEST RECEPTION STAR! 🐶💛

Meet the lovely Sammie, a gorgeous Golden Retriever who came in to visit us and clearly decided that our reception team was missing one very important member… HIM! 😂 📞

We might need to have a little chat with management about adding him to the team… although we think he’d spend most of his shift asking for treats rather than answering the phones! 🦴 🤣

Who else thinks he deserves the job? 💛 🐕

Usually it’s the pets who are poorly… this week, it’s the vets! 🤒

We’re currently experiencing a higher-than-usual level of staff sickness across both our clinical and non-clinical teams.

Our team are working incredibly hard to maintain as much of our usual service as possible, but this does unfortunately mean that appointment availability is likely to be more limited than normal over the coming days.

We’d really appreciate your understanding and support if we need to:
• Offer you a different appointment time or day
• Contact you to reschedule a routine appointment
• Ask you to be flexible about which vet you see
• Take a little longer than usual to respond to non-urgent enquiries

Where we need to move routine appointments, this is so that we can make sure we have capacity to care for patients who need urgent or emergency attention.

We know that having an appointment changed can be frustrating, particularly when you have made plans around it, and we’re genuinely sorry for any inconvenience this causes. Please be assured that we are carefully prioritising appointments based on clinical need and doing everything we can to continue providing the level of care you expect from us.

We’d also ask for a little extra patience and kindness towards our team while we navigate this particularly challenging period. ❤️

Today is Veterinary Receptionist Appreciation Day and a wonderful opportunity to recognise all the efforts of our amazing Client Care Team - Kate, Charlotte and Zara.
It is also an opportunity to say a huge thank you, but a very sad farewell, to our fabulous Lou who has moved on to new adventures over the last few weeks.
Our Client Care Team are the frontline of the practice and we know that you will all want to join us in thanking them for the kindness, care and compassion that they show our clients, our team and our patients every day!

💊🐾 A LITTLE REMINDER ABOUT REPEAT MEDICATIONS 🐾💊

We kindly ask that you give us at least 24 hours’ notice when requesting repeat medication for your pets. This also includes flea and worming treatments. 🐶🐱

There is a process that the practice must follow when dispensing medication. All repeat medications must be authorised by a veterinarian.

🙏 Please be patient and kind to our team if they explain that your medication needs to be authorised by a vet or that we require 24 hours’ notice.

Giving us plenty of notice helps us to process your request safely and efficiently, and ensures your pet’s medication is appropriately authorised. 🐾💚

A little advance warning for our clients! ❤️

🎉🐾 RINGWOOD CARNIVAL – SATURDAY 19TH SEPTEMBER 🐾🎉

Ringwood Carnival is taking place on Saturday 19th September, and there will be a number of road closures around the area which may affect access to the out of hours service.

🚧 Road closures are expected:

🕐 1:30pm – 4:30pm
🕡 6:30pm – 10:00pm

CVS Vets will remain OPEN as usual during these times. 🏥🐶🐱

If you need to visit us during the road closures the team on duty will be able to talk you through the best option depending on your circumstances.

This may include:
🚶‍♀️ Parking nearby and walking to the practice
🚗 Following a suitable diversion route
🏥 Visiting one of our alternative practices where appropriate
⏰ Waiting for the roads to reopen

🐾 We’ve been out and about! 🐾

We’ve had such a lovely time attending a couple of local events recently, and it’s been wonderful to see so many of our lovely clients and their furry family members! 🐶🐱❤️

We’ve also had the pleasure of meeting lots of wonderful new faces – both two-legged and four-legged! 🥰

🎨 ...And don’t forget our colouring competition! 🎨

We’ve received some absolutely lovely colouring pictures, and we’ve been so impressed with all the effort that has gone into them! 🖍️🐾

🐾💕 Double the cuddles, double the cuteness! 💕🐾

Meet Toby & Fanta! 🐱🐱✨

These two adorable little kittens came to see us today for their neutering procedures, and we have to say… they completely stole everyone’s hearts! 🥹💕

Not only were they absolutely gorgeous, but they were also the sweetest, cuddliest little pair and were more than happy to enjoy plenty of fuss and attention from the team. 🥰

We’re pretty sure everyone fell a little bit in love with them today! 😍🐾
