One of our most frequently asked questions… so here are our current dogs looking for their forever homes! Week commencing 19/09/2026

PLEASE NOTE:- things change quick around here, we don’t mess around when it comes to finding these pooches their forever people!! 💚 Sometimes the dog(s) you enquire about have other people lined up, or just may not be suitable, but we will always do our best to match you up with another pooch who may just meet what you’re looking for, so it is ALWAYS worth reaching out. We have new dogs arriving with us every week, so if you don’t see your new friend below, they may well land with us soon!

🏡 MEET OUR DOGS LOOKING FOR HOMES🏡

🪽HOPE🪽- EST 3-4 years old. Mastiff Mix. Female. Adult only home (due to her adorable bully clumsiness) and ideally the only pooch in the home whilst she gets back to full strength. Looking for her forever home to continue growing from strength to strength and building her weight gradually. She will make truly incredible companion for an incredibly lucky human!

💙 NORBERT 💙 - 4 1/2 year old Spinone X Wire Haired Pointer. Male. Can live with other dogs with gentle introduction. Needs farm-land or lots of space to roam. Beautiful boy once he bonds with you, but comes with his quirks!

🤠 DAKOTA 🤠 - 3 1/2 year old German Shepard X Dogue De Bordeaux. Female. Can live with other dogs and children of high school age and above.True sweetheart who will truly flourish for the right humans.

🫶🏻DEWEY🫶🏻 - 3 year old Springer Spaniel. Male. A true sweetheart with humans once he trusts you - but needs to be in an adult only home as the only dog. Looking for a home happy to continue his training and development ❤️

🎷 SYMPHONIE 🎷 - 1 year old Staffy X Bosnian Barak Female. Ideally the only dog in the home and can live with children, and other dogs with gentle introduction. Very petite lady with a lot of love to give her humans. Looking for a home to continue her exposure to the world!

🎤 HARMONIE 🎤 - 1 year old Staffy X Bosnian Barak Female. Can live with other dogs and children of high school age and above with gentle introduction. A really sweet, petite lady with a lot of love to give her humans. Looking for a home to continue her exposure to the world!

🤓 DOUGLAS-EDWARD III 🤓 - EST 2 year old Lurcher X. Male. Can live with other confident dogs and children with gentle introductions. Super affectionate and loving boy with all humans, and incredibly intelligent, but would benefit from a home willing to commit to his ongoing training.

❤️ BERTIE ❤️ - 5 year old, British Bulldog Male. Can live with other dogs and loves humans - especially females. Super sweet boy with a classic loveable bulldog personality (he’s hard not to adore!). Would love short strolls and cuddling up for movie nights!

🫵 WE NEED YOUR HELP 🫵

This weekend our ANLOL HQ has had a VERY exciting revamp that will truly revolutionise our little rescue and we are only 16 months into this crazy world of rescue, so this is a truly humbling moment in our journey 💚

But to truly pull all of it together, we need a few bits and bobs, and this is where you guys may be able to help us!!

We need the following:

- Paving Flags (Lots of them!)
- Solar Lights
- Building Sand
- Plastic Storage Boxes with Lids

💙 GORDON BENNETT IS BACK… AND THOSE DISNEY EYES ARE READY TO MELT YOUR HEART! 💙🥹

I had the pleasure of taking this gorgeous boy down to Greenhalgh Canine Club and what a little star he was! 💚🐾

Gordon Bennett is a 7-year-old Pug with the most beautiful eyes and the sweetest little soul. Honestly, how can you look at that face and not fall in love? 😍

He absolutely loved his time out, enjoying all the new sights and smells, exploring and spending time with people. He’s such a happy little character, full of affection, and a real pleasure to be around.

Gordon is great with other dogs and people, can live with children of all ages, and walks beautifully on the lead. He’s the sort of boy who would make a wonderful companion and a much-loved member of the family. 🏡💙

Sadly, through no fault of his own, Gordon is looking for his forever home again. All he wants is a family to call his own, a comfy place to snooze and people to shower with his love. ❤️

Surely there’s someone out there who can give this gorgeous boy the happy ending he deserves?

🏡 LOOKING FOR HER FOREVER HOME!!! 🏡

Meet ‘HARMONIE’ 🎤

This little lady is Harmonie! She’s a very petite Staffy X girl, that is a good size for most families. At around 13kg at present!

She is estimated to be around 9-10 months old, so she is the perfect age to be trained, but has ridden past the age with the tiny bladder that need to toilet every hour!

Harmonie is on the hunt for a forever home after having really quite a tough start. Harms had been left with her Mum and all her litter mates at a friends house. That many puppies from the same litter all being together until this age is naturally carnage and with no training in place for any of them - so ultimately semi-feral on arrival!

Within a week of arrival, Harmonie and her siblings learned to walk on a lead, sit, wait and even sleep in a crate. But with her being very intelligent , and extremely eager to please, her training is coming on leaps and bounds and she is a delight to work with.

Harmonie could live with children and other dogs - upon gentle introductions - and her ideal home will be with someone who is prepared to commit to her ongoing training and exposure to life. She absolutely adores her outings, but equally enjoys curling up with her people, so a home that is able to offer walks, exposure and a nice comfy couch with some movies and popcorn, would be perfect to continue rounding Harmony into the girl we all know she can be!

She’s a goofier little character who smiles her way through her days, and is still very puppy in her nature, with lots to learn and explore. She’s goofy, playful and energetic . Gives really good cuddles and kisses too! 😍

With her personality, Harmonie could live with another steady, confident dog in the home ❤️

🏡 LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER HOME!!! 🏡

Meet ‘BERTIE’ ❤️

This handsome boy is a 5 year old, loveable rogue of a character! He is a fun, loving and intelligent fella, with the classic cheek and stubbornness that you can’t help but love in a bulldog!

Bertie is on the hunt for a forever home that will continue to help him stick with his diet plan as he is well on track to a waistline and better fitness - he’s already lost over 10% of his original body weight!!

When Bertie first arrived in rescue, he really struggled with the adjustment, as he truly adored his people and is a sensitive little soul, but since he’s opened his doors to all of the new people, new food, new sights and sounds and ways of life, he’s truly flourishing into a fabulous boy.

His humans unfortunately couldn’t keep Bertie due to a health deterioration within the household, alongside struggling with Bertie’s sensitivities. He really struggled to adjust to the heightened emotions and anxieties in the family, and got into a bad habit of peeing in the home!

***THIS IS NO LONGER A STRUGGLE*** Bertie is now a superstar at letting you know when he needs to toilet outside and holds his bladder all night long! ❤️

Bertie is currently out in a foster home to continue his training in a home environment whilst he awaits his forever, and he has well and truly proven that he has what it takes to find his forever home, with his new best friend(s).

Bertie LOVES people. He loves attention, he loves bum scratches, he loves food and he loves training! This boy is deceiving - he’s not only got a big heart, but a big brain too!

Berts can now head out on lovely walks and is growing more and more in confidence and stamina every single day.

Bertie is missing a few patches of hair due to allergies at a younger age, and although most of his fur has grown back beautifully, he does have a couple of little balder patches: chicken and cheese are a no for this boy!

Bertie can be homed with other dogs and can be homed with older children - due to his occasional stubborness❤️
