Over the coming months I’ll be sharing Hank’s puppy journey—the good, the bad, and the occasionally chaotic.

For those who knew Doug, don’t worry. Hank isn’t replacing him. He’s simply the next chapter in our story.

Look at this clever little superstar! 🌟

Teddie’s recall is becoming more reliable everyday. One cue, immediate turn, straight back to me, sit in front, reward… and then he waits until he’s released. That’s exactly what we’re aiming for. 👏

One thing that often surprises people is that when I start recall training, I usually introduce a brand new word rather than using the dog’s name.

Think about it… how many times a day does your dog hear their name?

“Teddie, sit.”
“Teddie, leave it.”
“Teddie, come.”
“Teddie, where are you?”

After a while, their name can become background noise! A fresh recall cue starts with a clean slate and helps create a strong association: hear this word = amazing things happen when I run back to my human.

Safe to say Teddie got the memo. 🐾❤️

I had a wonderful afternoon with new little girl Lola today ♥️

She started the session barking and keeping her distance from me but ended the session pawing at me and asking for me treats 🐾

With the temperature staying high 🔥 we thought we’d share a quick, easy recipe with you to keep your dogs cool 😎 and calm 🐶

You will need:
1 banana-mashed 🍌
3 tablespoons of natural or plain yoghurt 😋
1 tablespoon dog-safe peanut butter🥜
A few strawberries- chopped 🍓
A few blueberries- chopped🫐

Mix it all together and then transfer to:
Lickmats 👅
Cupcake cases 🧁
Lollipop molds 🍭
Kongs 🧸

Freeze for 1-2 hours 🧊

Serve to your dog 🐕

Please always supervise your dogs with any treats and take any equipment such as lick-mats away once your dog has finished their treat 🤤

Peanut butter MUST be Xylitol-free (sometimes called Birch Sugar) 🌳

🌞 Hot weather reminder for dog owners 🌞

With temperatures hitting around 25°C today, it’s important to think about how the heat affects our dogs 🐾

Dogs don’t cope with heat the same way we do — and what feels “warm” to us can be too hot for them, especially on walks.

A few simple ways to keep your dog safe today:
🐶 Walk early morning or later in the evening
🐶 Avoid the hottest part of the day
🐶 Check pavements — if it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for paws
🐶 Provide plenty of fresh water and shade
🐶 Swap walks for enrichment at home if needed (sniff games, training, frozen treats)

Remember: skipping a walk on a hot day is not neglect — it’s good ownership 💛

If in doubt, it’s always better to keep things calm and cool.

Stay safe and give your dogs a fuss from us 🐾
