STILL TWO SPACES AVAILABLE! On this weekend’s Exposure Experience at the East Anglian Transport Museum. 🚌 🚊

This is a fantastic opportunity to get your dog or puppy exposed and desensitised to getting on and off trams, buses and other transport. A lot of my clients say they’d love to take their dog on the bus or train but it’s such a difficult one to train the dog to negotiate the experience comfortably as once the bus or train arrives, you have to get on in a timely fashion! 😥

The EATM has multiple types of bus and tram, some static and some can be travelled on! So we will be forming lots of positive associations with the static vehicles, some general training and all being well- travelling on the moving vehicles! 😊

BRAND NEW COURSE NOW BOOKING! 📣

This will be our last novice intake before Christmas!! 🎅🏼 and fun fact- a dog trainer’s busiest period is usually January… why? Because people realise how naughty and untrained the puppy/dog is over the Christmas period with all the food and guests and long walks… don’t let that be you! Let’s get in early and get those pups trained before the silly season arrives! 🤩

This eight week course is suitable for puppies and friendly older dogs who need to learn the basics, or indeed go back to basics! 😉 we’ll cover;
- Recall
- Loose lead walking
- Settling in pubs and cafes
- Giving items up freely
- Disengagement from items
- Greeting new people/dogs
- Confidence building + much more!

Small groups of up to six dogs, free parking and a free cuppa and biccie on the tea break we use to train the settle cue. What could be better! 🍪

And because I know December can be busy at weekends- if you need to miss a session or two I will offer a 30 minute 121 training session FREE OF CHARGE and at your convenience to catch you up on what you missed! 😊

We’ll be stepping out of TD HQ for lots of dates in October, November and December! 🙌🏼

• NEUTRAL NELLIES is returning- on lead team walks to work on calmness, neutrality and settling in public places.🚶🏼‍♀️

• BRAND NEW EXPOSURE EXPERIENCES- kicking off with East Anglian Transport Museum next Sunday afternoon, to desensitise to travelling on buses and trams! (Please note humans will need to pay their £12 entrance fee at gate for this) 🚌

• STOMP + SHOOT- photo shoot walk with Alli Stone through Wrentham Christmas Trees, NR34 7NB for some Christmas card snaps! 🎄

• CHRISTMAS STOMP- our annual tradition of a fiver Team Walk, hot chocs and christmassy walk is going to pivot venues this year and we’ll visit the spectacular Christmas Lane to take in the lights and finish for Christmas break! All welcome, old and new clients. ✨

Small, but mighty! 💞

Five month old Trippie (only small dog owners will understand where that name came from 🤣) has been bringing the character on our current Nursery intake! And it’s been lovely catching up with her mum Kim who I knew from my previous dog training life! 😊
