Field contains enrichment activities, shelter, fresh water and 6ft fencing that extends underground.

Wake up! We have been asleep to the bank holiday.... but we have now made our The Dog Barn Darlington site available to book for secure dog walking today. 5 acres just on the outskirts of Mowden in the West End of Darlington.

We also have some availability at our Easingwold site today.

Same green manicured grass as our other sites, same 6ft fences, water in the field, same feeling of security and all yours for an hour.

It isn't just Dog Fields at South Acres Dog Fields, Yorkshire and North East.
Farming is where it all started and we have been a bit quiet recently as harvest is underway, but we want to say a sincere thank you to our customers and let you know that even though our farming business is having a busy time, our phones are always answered if you need a hand with booking or anything else. There are still some slots left at our beautiful Durham Coast and Easingwold sites for the weekend. Enjoy!

The cooler temperatures are making for a lovely opportunity to get out for secure dog walking! Our established sites only have a few slots available today, however Easingwold still has plenty of availablity.
Easingwold is also a lovely town with great cafes and restaurants. Enjoy the day!

🎉 We're officially FINISHED! 🎉

Today's the day! South Acres Fields Easingwold is now open, and we can't wait to welcome our very first dogs (and their humans!).

To mark the occasion, here's a few pics of the site so you can see exactly what's waiting for you before you visit.

You'll find:
🐾 11 acres of secure dog walking fields
🚗 A huge main car park, plus two secure in-field car parks

🐶 Over 1,100 metres of secure fencing
🏡 Field shelters
💧 Fresh water points in every field
🎾 Jumps, sand pits and hay bales (bales promised at some point over the weekend!) for plenty of fun

Just a quick note for Saturday—because of the high temperatures, we're taking a steady approach to opening. The fields will be open from 6am–12pm and 4pm–9pm, with a break between 12pm and 4pm to avoid the hottest part of the day and help keep everyone safe.

Bookings are now open, and we'd love to welcome you and your dogs over the coming days.

We were inspired by a fantastic young lady this weekend. Kaitlin (assistant and sidekick to our regular mechanic Big Neil) arrived and took on repairs on both of our mowers. Both jobs involved problems she had not seen before but Kaitlin is pure tenacity, intelligence and just a top lass. Problems sorted and our site maintenance fleet is back on the road.

Kaitlin has been in to fixing things since she was small. She is still only 15 but is very talented and committed. The next two items she needs to keep her spannering dreams coming true is a tool chest to keep her growing collection of gear organised, and also an apprenticeship to get stuck in to when she turns 16 (agricultural engineering based).

It has been a sunny week and some of the dogs have stayed at home to stay cool but our team are still grafting to bring a couple of new sites to in the next few weeks. Here is Craig telling us what goes in to doing a posh job.
