It’s true... sometimes we do wake up at 3am thinking about your dog. 💤

Wondering how they’re settling after their first groom.
Hoping they’re feeling more comfortable.
Thinking about how far they’ve come since we first met them.

Because for most groomers, it’s never just about the haircut.

We celebrate every little win. We worry. We care.

Groomers, please tell us it’s not just us! ❤️

Its another hot one today and will be tomorrow too and, although its tempting to enjoy the nice weather by going out for a walk, please leave your furry family members at home.

Heatstroke is dangerous and can occur very quickly and be fatal. Please keep your pets out of the sun as much as possible, especially during the hottest part of the day and limit walks to very early morbing or very late evening.

Cold treats such as frozen kongs are a great way to keep them cool and coolmats arealso a goos addition. Paddling pools can be fun but keep an eye on the temperature and have it set up in the shade where possible. If filling it with a hosepipe or if you're planning to bathe your dog with a hosepipe, please make sure you run the water through first if its been sitting in the sun to prevent scalds from any sitting water.

If your dog does get too hot it is important to cool them down as quickly as possible. It is a myth that using cold water is dangerous, the aim is to get them cool as quick as possible to prevent any longlasting damage. To get them cooled down, it is best and quickest to use cold water.

Lastly, no dog has died from missing a couple of walks, but they can and do die from heatstroke. Please keep them at home.

If you have any worries or concerns, our out of hours team are on standby at the pet hospital in Shrewsbury should you need them.

We hope you're all having a wonderful bank holiday weekend.
