As news of our move spreads - many customers that followed us from Shifnal may be feeling the extra distance is abit too far - we completely understand and thank you all for sharing our journey this far

We would like to be able to offer you two alternatives -

1) Gorgeous Grooms goes mobile 🚗 - for elderly dogs or those who find travelling a bit of a struggle - one day a week one of the team will be working remotely offering grooming in your own home.

We will bring the salon experience to your house and aim to give the same great you’ve always received with the comfort of not leaving your front door

2). We will be signposting you all to Charlotte Bellamy at Gizzmos in Shifnal

Charlotte spent last year on placement with us as she completed her level 2 grooming and is now back with us for this year for her level 3 placement hours

She is a born natural and has really added something to the team - with Owner consent we can pass on your dogs grooming notes to aid transition and I’m sure you will be made to feel very comfortable in her care

🏡🐾 WE ARE MOVING! 🐾🏡

We have some BIG NEWS to share with all our wonderful customers…

💜 WE ARE MOVING TO A NEW LOCATION IN MARKET DRAYTON! 💜

After lots of thought and consideration especially given that we also had to leave our premises in Shifnal this year , we have decided that the time is right for a change of location.

This move is being made for both personal and practical reasons, and although it is a little bittersweet, we are also really excited about this next chapter for our business. 🐶✨

🐾 WHAT WILL OUR NEW SALON OFFER?

🚪 Our very own front door!

🛁 Our own bath – no more sharing!

💷 Lower salon rental and running costs, helping us to operate more sustainably.

🐶 The same quality grooming and one-to-one care you and your dogs know and love.

👩‍🎓 Trained and experienced staff who genuinely care about the dogs they work with.

❤️ A safe, calm and nurturing environment where every dog can be treated as an individual.

🌳 We will miss our beautiful woodland surroundings and our dedicated parking at Chetwynd, BUT…

🚗 There will be drop-off parking very close by, and some lovely walking places nearby too!

💜 AND THERE’S ANOTHER REALLY IMPORTANT REASON…

This move means that Gill can reduce her working week from SEVEN DAYS to FOUR! 🙌

This is something that is very much needed for her health, wellbeing and quality of life.

We know that moving won’t suit absolutely everyone, and we completely understand that a change of location can be a big decision.

But we truly hope that the majority of our customers will continue to choose us because of what we offer your dogs — not simply where our front door happens to be! 🐾

We’ve had a fabulous week in the salon - and we’ll be back to it again today making as many dogs as possible look just as beautiful as our lovely pooches from the last seven days

Gill and Sam had a very exciting day at Groomfest to end our week on - lots of great ideas and inspiration along with a bit of shopping 🛍️ and a lovely brunch from the onsite farmhouse cafe Royal Kennel Club Kenilworth

Following a few days away it was time to collect the girls from Chetwynd firs and take them for their own little pamper session

I can’t tell you how much these girls mean to me !

For those that don’t know - Bella is the reason I am where I am today - her story is both emotional and inspiring - when I rehomed her in 2019 I never dreamed I’d be doing what I do now

She “changed my world” !
And started the whole dog world phenomenon that is now my life - starting with Bella Boo’s of Newport
Bonnie came to me in lock down - a puppy rescue who became my training partner and helped guide me into the next stages of my journey with Pawsitive Pooches of Newport

Next came Bonnie’s baths and bubbles of Newport
Followed by Happy Hounds of Newport and then subsequently Gorgeous Grooms Newport Ltd at Chetwynd Firs

The next adventure is just around the corner and I can’t wait to share our news with you - ( but not just yet !! )

They say when you love what you do - you never have to work a day in your life !
I’m not sure that entirely true - I work hard everyday - but I’m so glad I have a job I am passionate about and feel proud to call myself a pet care professional
