Who doesn't love a good puppy spam?

Beautiful Hamish was in today for his second vaccination and very quickly won everyone over with his sweet personality!

He's already growing fast so we're sure his owners will be very grateful in a week's time when they don't have to carry him around anymore 😂

The beautiful and snuggly little Nutella came to see us for her first vaccination this week and has been joined up to our Healthcare Plan to have all her flea and worm treatments included too (plus all the other benefits!).

As it was the end of the day and we had a little extra time to spend with her, we felt testing her posing skills was a worthwhile effort.

We thought she deserves 10/10!
What score would you give her??

We thought we’d finish the week with a song from Brodie. 😍

You might have to listen hard to hear the commentary over his version of events. 😟

The very lively Sabrina came to see us this week with her new pawrents.

Although keeping up with her energy levels might be quite the challenge, she is at least very well natured, and totally gorgeous.

Given her totally amazing ear tufts, it’s not a particularly difficult challenge to figure out her breed, but does anyone want to take a guess??

Who doesn’t love a surprise present??? 🤷🏻‍♂️

When the present is as cool as some personalised 3D printed veterinary themed thermometer holders from a client that made them for you, it’s hard to beat though! 😍

You all got to see photos of Ruby in this morning’s post.

This is the point at which we felt we should be singing her a lullaby!

It was a shame to have to wake her up so she could go home after. 😔

The most important thing we said on Saturday morning……???

Skweeeeeeeee! 🤗

The adorable - and absolutely dainty - little Ruby was an absolute gem for her very first appointment.

It was just a little bit much for her though, and in all the excitement she kept nodding off, as staying awake was TOO much like hard work. 😴

Absolutely gorgeous? ✅
Angelic in behaviour? ✅
Perfectly Photogenic? ✅

What more could we ask for??

Keep your eyes open for a video of her later today. 🥱😍

The colour in the evening sky tonight however…… 😎👌🏻

We asked the question yesterday about bladder stone numbers in preparation for surgery today.

There were some good guesses (some easily better than ours tbh!) but no correct answers that we saw. The very closest was 9, so one person DOES at least get to have bragging rights at the end of the day.

We’ll let you do the counting yourself though. It’s unlikely you’ll need to take your socks off to get the answer right tonight. 😜

22/09/2026

Who is up for a flutter and do a bit of betting????🤑

We are going to be doing some bladder surgery on a patient tomorrow to remove the bladder stones that we saw on X-rays a few weeks back (but needed to focus on other other more pressing issues for him first, otherwise we would have taken them out much more promptly than this of course!).

In preparation for surgery, staff have been taking guesses at how many stones will actually be removed….. 🧐
NB we only keep counting down to stones of 2mm diameter or larger - otherwise it’s like counting grains of sand 🤪

If anyone else wants to volunteer a guess below, we’ll put you into the sweepstake. 👍🏻

And the prize????

Eternal bragging rights. 👌🏻
