🐾 END OF SUMMER PAWTY UPDATE 🐾

Hi everyone! 💕 Thank you so much to everyone who showed interest in our End of Summer Pawty!

Unfortunately, due to the lack of availability over the Bank Holiday, we haven’t had enough bookings to make the party possible, so sadly the event will not be going ahead on Monday 31st August. 🥺🐶

We’re really grateful for everyone who expressed an interest, and we’ll definitely be looking into some future dates for another Pawty! 🎉🌴🐾

Hopefully we can get all the pups together for some fun at Wags/Barkbados very soon! ☀️🐕💦

The session will include:
🚌 Pick-up & drop-off
🏖️ 1-hour session at Wags Barkados Field, Shrewsbury
🎾 Plenty of fun, play & summer vibes!

⭐️ Please expect doggies to be out and about for a maximum of 2.5hours ⭐️

I’m currently gauging interest, so the event will only go ahead if I receive enough interest to make it possible 🤞🏼

Once I know how many doggies are interested, I can confirm everything and get tickets arranged!

I’ve started my pet sit with these gorgeous kittens on Monday, and what a pleasure they are! 🐱💕

I’ve had lots of love from Ben and Dexter, while little Daisy is still a bit cautious and likes to keep her distance—but she’s slowly starting to build her confidence, and it’s lovely to see. Every cat has their own unique personality, and it’s always so rewarding to earn their trust.

I’m looking forward to spending the rest of the week with these three beauties! 🐾❤️

🐾 Water breaks 💧☀️

When the weather warms up, our dogs can overheat much faster than we do. Unlike us, they can’t cool themselves down by sweating, so stopping for regular water breaks during walks is one of the simplest and most important ways to keep them safe and comfortable.

Why are water breaks so important?
🐶 They help regulate your dog’s body temperature.
🐶 They reduce the risk of dehydration and heat-related illnesses.
🐶 They give your dog a chance to rest and recover before carrying on with their walk.

As a professional dog walker, I always carry fresh water and a portable bowl, making sure every dog has the opportunity to drink whenever they need it. Every walk is adapted to the weather, with plenty of shade, shorter routes when needed, and lots of water stops to keep tails wagging safely.

Remember, if the pavement feels too hot on the bottom of your foot, it’s too hot for your dog’s paws too. On particularly warm days, an early morning or late evening walk is often the safest choice.

Let’s keep our four-legged friends happy, healthy, and hydrated all summer long! 🐕💦
