Our beautiful elderly Cocker Spaniel, Flo, came in for her regular pamper, and doesn’t she look absolutely fabulous? 🐶💕

Flo was thoroughly enjoying her lovely warm bath and nourishing coat treatment — the perfect little bit of comfort and TLC for one of our precious golden oldies. 🛁🫧💗

🐾🥰 As our beloved dogs grow older, their needs can change, and regular grooming becomes about so much more than simply keeping them looking beautiful. It’s about helping them feel comfortable, cared for and loved. 🐾

Our senior dogs may be a little slower, a little stiffer, or need a few more breaks and extra reassurance along the way , and that’s absolutely okay. ❤️

💛 Regular grooming can help our golden oldies by:
• Keeping their coat clean, soft and comfortable
• Preventing matting and tangles
• Helping us notice changes to their skin, lumps or bumps
• Keeping ears clean and comfortable
• Maintaining nails to support comfortable movement
• Removing excess coat that may cause discomfort
• Giving them gentle one-to-one care and attention

Today is all about celebrating the wonderful, crazy, cuddly, muddy, mischievous little souls who make our lives better every single day! 🐶❤️

At Pawters, we’re lucky enough to spend our days surrounded by some of the BEST dogs around , and honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way! 🥰✂️🐾

From the tiny puppies finding their paws, to our gorgeous oldies, rescue dogs, nervous pups and the ones who bounce through the door like they own the place… every dog deserves to feel special. 👑🐕

And a HUGE shoutout to all the rescue dogs out there too. ❤️
Some have had the hardest starts in life, but with love, patience and a safe home, they can become the most amazing companions. 🐾
