🐾 3 YEARS OF PAWS AT PLAY - FIFE 🐾
Today marks three years since I officially started my dog walking and pet sitting business — and I honestly can’t believe how quickly it’s gone! 🥹❤️
But this dream actually started long before that…
The first photo is me back in 2018, aged 16, doing a bake sale and advertising myself as a dog walker. 🐶I had absolutely no idea what I was doing or what it actually took to properly set up a business, so nothing really came of it.
Five years later in 2023, I decided to give it one more shot… and here we are. 🥹🐾
Sometimes I genuinely think thank God I tried again.
Because that 16-year-old who dreamed about doing this had no idea that one day it would actually become my career.
Even after three years, I still have moments of imposter syndrome where I look at everything I’ve built and think, “Is this actually me?” 😂 Sometimes I still can’t quite believe that it’s me who has built this, runs it, organises everything behind the scenes and gets to spend my days surrounded by dogs, cats and horses.
And to all of my clients — thank you. ❤️ Thank you for trusting me with your pets, because I truly understand what a big deal that is. I hardly ever go on holiday because I’m the person who doesn’t trust anyone with my pets! 😂 So I know exactly what it feels like to put your babies in someone else’s care, and I’ll never take it lightly that you trust me to look after yours.
Three years of muddy clothes, endless driving, admin, early mornings, lots of learning, plenty of laughs — and most importantly, a whole lot of animals! 🐾
Looking at these two photos side by side makes me so proud of how far this little dream has come.
