💭 A LITTLE SAFEPETZ UPDATE… 🐾

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about what to do with SafePetz, and I wanted to be honest with you all.

SafePetz is something I genuinely care about. I started it because I wanted to create something that could give dog owners that little bit of extra reassurance if their dog ever went missing. ❤️🐶

But the reality is that, at the moment, SafePetz is making £0 for me, while I’m still paying out quite a lot to keep everything running.

As a small, one-person business, I simply can’t keep putting money into something indefinitely when there’s very little coming back in - especially with everything else life currently throws at me.

That doesn’t mean I’ve made a decision to close SafePetz. I’m just at the point where I need to seriously consider what the future looks like and whether I can make it sustainable.

I’m incredibly proud of how far SafePetz has come, especially knowing that it started as an idea that I worked on behind the scenes for so long before finally taking the leap and launching it🥹

So for now, I’m taking a little step back and figuring things out.

🩷 A LITTLE FULL TRANSPARENCY FROM ME… 🩷

I wanted to be a little more open about why you may have noticed that SafePetz has been quieter recently and why I haven’t been posting as much.

For those who don’t know, there is only one person behind SafePetz, me. There’s no team or anyone behind the scenes to step in when life gets a little too much. So when I’m struggling personally, unfortunately the business feels it too.

Over the last couple of months, I’ve been navigating a huge amount of change in my personal life and adjusting to life as a newly single mum to two little boys. It’s been a massive adjustment, both emotionally and practically, and some days have simply been about getting through the day and looking after my boys🩷

That has meant SafePetz hasn’t had the time, attention and consistency that I would normally give it. And honestly, I’ve felt guilty about that.

But I also want to remind myself - and you - that I’m only human. Sometimes life has to come before business, and I’m doing my best to find my feet again.

SafePetz is something I’m incredibly proud of and I’m not giving up on it🐾 I still have so many ideas for the business and I really want to see it grow.

So right now, I’m asking for your support more than ever. 🥹🩷

Make sure you add the unique reference included with your collar when completing the form.

💻 5. We create your pet’s profile
Once we receive your form, the SafePetz team will set up your pet’s online profile and link it to your collar.

🐾 6. You’re ready to go!
Once your profile is set up, your SafePetz collar is ready to help give you that extra peace of mind if your pet ever goes missing.

📍 And remember… a finder can use the QR code to access your pet’s profile and contact you, and can also send you their location to help you find your furry friend.

Tiny hands, big help🩵

My two little assistants were on quality control today, helping Mummy box up your SafePetz collars. They might slow me down a little, but they’re the reason behind every late night, every early morning, and every parcel that leaves here.

Building a business while raising my boys isn’t always easy, but I wouldn’t have it any other way💙🐾
