Paws4Teaching Dog Behaviour & Training in Taunton and surrounding area. I am a Clinical Animal Behaviourist (MSc). We are fully insured.

Paws4teaching offers dog training from puppies through to adult dogs in the Taunton/Bridgwater/Wellington and surrounding areas of Somerset. Whether you rescued your dog, or had him from a puppy, We can help you in all areas of training and behavioural work. Our aim is for you to understand your dog and their needs, and for you to have a mutually enjoyable relationship. We only use positive and reward based training methods and do not believe in the need to use any negative training or equipment. I am a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT), which means we adhere to a strict code of conduct, only using ‘Kind, Fair and Affective’ training methods. There are no ‘quick fixes’ - no matter what some TV programmes or other trainers show! Working with a dog to learn something new or change a behaviour will take time and patience – but don’t worry, we will be with you all the way.

Rally show today and Hallie was a superstar. 2nd place in Level 4. I got us NQ at Level 5 as read a sign wrong 😢, but the afternoon was about our Allbreedience team: Strawberry dogs 🐕 Team is myself with Hallie, Annie with Ember Sooz with Goose and reserve dog Sue with Cinders as Viki and Freddie had to pull out. Our first competition, very little rehearsal and we got 2nd place!! Had a run off as tied with another team and they beat us by 1/2 a point. So chuffed 😀 guess we will have to compete together again ❤️🤩 special mention to Sue Howlett for being a super teacher for Rally & Allbreedience 🥰

This mornings scent workshop was in memory of Chrissie Scott who should have been with us with her Setter Broccoli. She passed away last week 😢 We laughed, all the dogs had a fantastic time and we were thinking of you as we thought that would be the best way to celebrate you - dogs having fun ❤️🐕 Woofys Warehouse

**Next joint workshop with Top Gunn Canine** Friday 6th November 10 - 4pm at Plym Valley Railway Plymouth PL7 4NW. This workshop will focus on higher hides and inaccessible finds. This is for dogs that are already imprinted on their odour (any can be used) and are looking to progress their skills with more complex hides. We will be looking at problem solving and indication when the dog cannot get to source.
