Forgot to say that as you all know when I drop the gang home I always give them a sausage and small treats. So it was Junos house I slipped at and as I was winded laying on the floor with blood dripping down my face and neck Juno was trying to get her treats out of my hand especially the sausage that I was gripping onto for dear life. 🙈😂😂 they are funny

And only the rain from storm Austen showed up on the second walk at Thurlbear woods.

Storm Austen didn’t make an appearance on our first walk at Or hard Portman. Phew.

Note to self STOP wearing Crocs in the wet weather. Dropping a dog home slipped on the floor and head butted the front door frame.
And landed on my new hip.

As the sun was still shining I thought I’d go back to The Levels as these guys haven’t been for a while and they do love it there.
The walk started out so well they were sniffing running and playing and then Sandie (who I call Ruby occasionally 🙈😂) and wonder why she ignores me. Rolled in something black runny and smelly. We carried on walking along the river and they went in for a dip.
They were basking in the sun all happy and then this is where it looked like a carry on film.
The cows were in the forth field a long way away so we headed into the second field Frankie Oscar and Guinness chased a ball Frankie got it. She’s so fast for a dog so little and she was off in the distance with her ball. Then I saw the farmer on the other side of the river spraying something all on the grass couldn’t make out what he was doing at first until I saw all the cows on his side moowing and running towards him and I then realised he was laying down hay for them. And I looked in the distance on my side and the cows that were miles away thought they were missing out of some hay so they are running in my direction. I’m shouting for Frankie to come and she’s dropping her ball having a sniff around picking up her ball and doing the same again. I’m screaming and walking/running to the gate followed by the gang as they always love when I’m running and they are jumping up at me and running in front of me. Frankie just casually looks over and wonders what’s going on so is now poodling through the middle of the field as the cows are getting closer.
Her recall has always been AWFUL when she doesn’t want to come 🙈😂
Thank god she left the field before the cows were near. But she’s warm now so with her ball she decided to go into the river where she’s been in and out of lots in the past without any trouble but today she can’t get out the steep banks all muddy and slippery and won’t go to a less steep bit like I’m asking her to she’s refusing to let her ball go. I walk away to see if she will hop out but nope stays there. Now some of the gang I can tell are thinking come on throw me a ball entertain me like you always do and they are giving me that I’m bored look. So I slide down the steep muddy bit to the river where there’s hardly any grass and get Frankie out when Teddy plops into the river and can’t get out so I get Teddy out who’s soaked and is so excited I’m sat down he’s jumping all over me covering me in mud and some of the others are running down to the water running up to me shaking by me and loving life. Teddys still jumping all over me. I’m on my hands and knees trying to get back up to be greeted by Basil Ozzy and Oscar just looking at me like have you finished mucking around yet 🙈😂😂😂😂
Frankie’s looking at me like I don’t know what you made such a fuss about 😂
I looked like I had been mid wrestling. What are they like 😂

Wow the calm before the storm and it was a beautiful morning along The Levels for the Thursday morning guys

Then onto Thurlbear Woods for the second group and the rain had found us ALL WALK until we got back to the van and it stopped and the sun came out 🙈😂

Then the second group went to Orchard Portman but walked along the top which we haven’t done in months. They loved it.

Even the RAIN doesn’t stop their fun.
