⚠️ A quick but important message from Staple Dogs Run Free.
With the dry spell we’ve been having, we wanted to flag a couple of things:
We’ve found cigarette butts discarded on the grass during our checks. With conditions this dry, this is a genuine fire risk. We are a non-smoking site and kindly ask that you do not smoke while using the field.
You may also notice the ground is quite cracked in places due to the dry weather. This is just a natural effect of the conditions, there’s nothing we can do about it until we get some proper rain, but we didn’t want it to catch anyone by surprise, especially with dogs running at pace.
Thanks for helping us keep the dog field safe and enjoyable for everyone 🐾
