In the words of his owner, The Chronicles of Pochy Poo (or Mr Pochington).
Poch is a very nervous dog who, due to his past, needs time and patience to feel safe and secure. He’s now been coming on duo walks for nearly 4 months and whilst he is happy to be out walking with myself, he is still unsure of physical contact.
During this time however, Poch’s confidence and love for other dogs has grown so much. He’s made two friends within the Countryside Trails & Waggy Tails family and his owner has also noticed him willingly approaching other dogs.
Whilst I’d love to give Pochy all the TLC he deserves, he isn’t ready for that yet. With continued patience, over time Poch will learn to trust me further, but it will only be when Poch feels ready.
Seeing my client puppers living their best lives on our walks together gives me so much job satisfaction, however sometimes it’s the small wins like Poch becoming more confident when approaching his four legged friends that also bring me so much joy.
