🐾🌟 DOG OF THE WEEK – POPPY! 🌟🐾

After a little time off, Dan and Becky have brought Poppy back, and they’ve slotted straight back in as though they’ve never been away! 🐶👏 It just goes to show that all that important learning and behaviour has been stored away in Poppy’s head, ready to shine when it matters most!

In just a few short weeks, this team has shown us exactly what they’re made of. They make us laugh, bring such a great attitude to training, and most importantly, they truly advocate for Poppy. ❤️ They understand her needs, recognise when situations might be too much for her, and make sure she isn’t put in situations that could upset her. That is what good training is all about: understanding your dog, supporting them, and helping them succeed at their own pace. 🐾

Well done, team Poppy! Keep being brilliant, keep making us laugh, and keep showing everyone what a fantastic team you are! 🥰👏💛

🐾 DOG OF THE WEEK — COOKIE! 🐾

Cookie first came to us as a dog who was reactive to both people and other dogs. Since then, she’s had several sessions with us to work through those big emotions, and every single time, we’ve seen her make progress.

This week, Cookie and her owner Abi took things to the next level. They completed two 1:1 sessions alongside their group obedience classes — and WOW, what a success they had! 👏🐶

Thursday’s class was a particularly huge achievement. There were 10 dogs on the field and 14 unfamiliar humans for Cookie to navigate — something that would usually be incredibly challenging for her.

But Cookie was FAB! 🌟

She was able to keep a lid on those big emotions, stay engaged with Abi and complete the group activities really well. This was a massive step forward from where they started, when having just one other dog on the field could be a challenge. To now have multiple dogs AND lots of unfamiliar people around her, including people who would normally be a trigger, is absolutely fantastic progress.

We’re never asking for perfection — we’re always looking for progress. And this week, Cookie and Abi had that in abundance. 🥰

🐾 HELP YOUR DOG BUILD CONFIDENCE & SOCIAL SKILLS! 🐾

Proper socialisation is about much more than simply letting dogs meet and play. It’s about helping your dog learn how to feel comfortable, confident and calm around other dogs, people and new experiences.

Our socialisation classes provide a supportive, structured and positive environment where dogs can learn at their own pace, with guidance to help them develop good manners, focus and confidence. 🐶❤️

Whether your dog is just starting out or ready to take their skills further, our beginner and advanced sessions offer a safe environment to learn, practise and progress.

🐾 DOG OF THE WEEK - ROGER! 🐾

Roger has had a fantastic spell of classes recently after a bit of a setback when he was frightened by the bird scarers in a nearby field. But he’s bounced back brilliantly and is now better than ever, throwing himself into some tough and advanced classes! 💪

Roger is a very strong dog, so his owner Becky certainly has her work cut out for her but she is impressing us so much with the progress she’s making with him. ❤️

We’re especially proud to see Roger now walking side by side with a variety of other dogs without reacting. And when he does have a moment, Becky is able to calmly and promptly bring him back under control. That’s fantastic progress and a real reflection of the hard work they’re both putting in. 👏

A huge well done to Becky and Roger! 🥳 You’re both doing an amazing job, and it’s brilliant to see how far you’ve come. Keep it up! 🐾❤️

As promised… here’s the video proof of LC herself picking our 2026 Doglympic winner and the lucky winner of 10 FREE classes! 🏆🐾

🥇 Lucky Leo took the win this year, but it really was anyone’s to take!

Our Doglympic champion wasn’t decided by behaviour, points or even athletic ability… this year, it all came down to LC’s sniffing skills! 👃🐶

Each contender had a cone with their name on it, and whichever cone was left until last was crowned the winner. Simple… but very exciting! 😂

A huge well done to ALL of our Doglympic contenders - you all smashed it! 💪🐾

🐾 Dog of the Week - Gally! 🐾

This week’s Dog of the Week is the lovely Gally, who has absolutely smashed his place command alongside his owner! 🙌 Their place work is some of the best we’ve seen, and it’s a brilliant skill to help Gally manage his desire to be in the personal space of the people he loves 24/7! 😂❤️

We were also so impressed with how calmly Gally coped around Ethel. We expected him to be very excited to greet another dog, so it was a lovely surprise to see him being so calm, neutral and composed. 👏🐶

Most of all, we’re incredibly excited to see Gally progress into group classes now. He’s come such a long way, and we can’t wait to see what he achieves next! 💪🐾

🐾🌟 Dog of the Week: Bailey! 🌟🐾

Bailey has tackled his first few group classes over the past couple of weeks and has made such a fantastic start. He’s been getting stuck in, building confidence and showing us exactly what he’s capable of.

A real standout moment came this week when our session took place in the barn. For a beginner, the barn can be a tricky environment with plenty of new sights, sounds and distractions but Bailey took it all in his stride!

He handled the challenge brilliantly and showed everyone just what he is made of. 👏🥰

Well done, Bailey! Keep up the great work!
