🤍🐾 THE END OF AN ERA… AND THE START OF A NEW CHAPTER 🐾🤍

This is probably one of the hardest posts I’ve had to write.

After 10 incredible years, Tamworth Dog Grooming has officially relocated to Charlecote, Warwickshire.

Our house move and completion happened a little quicker than we ever imagined, so I’m sorry I didn’t get the chance to tell everyone personally or have quite the goodbye I would have liked. From now on, all future grooming appointments will be at my new location in Charlecote.

I know in my heart that the extra distance will be too much for some of you, and I completely understand. But I also want you to know that my door will always be open to you. If you’d like to continue coming to me, please just send me a message — I would genuinely love to keep seeing you and your dogs. 🤍

I don’t think I realised quite how emotional I would feel writing this.

For the past 10 years, Tamworth Dog Grooming has been such a huge part of my life. What started as my little business became so much more.

I’ve watched puppies grow into old friends. I’ve groomed dogs from their very first puppy groom right through the years. I’ve shared your happy news, heard about your families, laughed with you, chatted on the doorstep and, sadly, cried with some of you when we’ve had to say goodbye to much-loved dogs.

There are dogs I’ve seen every few weeks for years who genuinely feel like part of my extended family.

And that’s what makes leaving Tamworth so bittersweet.

To every single person who has trusted me with their dog over the last decade — thank you.

Thank you for choosing me.
Thank you for recommending me.
Thank you for supporting my little business.
Thank you for coming back year after year.
And most of all, thank you for trusting me with members of your family. 🐶🤍

I will miss so many familiar faces and wagging tails more than I can possibly put into words.

But this isn’t quite goodbye…

It’s simply the beginning of a new chapter. 🌿

Tamworth Dog Grooming is becoming Charlecote Paws & Co, and I’m so excited to see where this next adventure takes me.

To those making the journey over to Charlecote with me — thank you. It honestly means more than you know.

And to those I may not see again, thank you for being part of the last 10 years. I will always be incredibly grateful for every one of you.

She’s been learning the ropes, getting plenty of hands-on experience and, I have to say… I think she’s actually rather good! 🥰🐶

🐾 A little update regarding the warmer weather… ☀️

At the moment, I’m carrying on as normal and all appointments will go ahead as planned.

However, if the temperatures end up being higher than currently forecast, I may need to reschedule some appointments to ensure the safety and comfort of the dogs. Their wellbeing will always come first.

If you already have an appointment booked and would prefer to postpone rather than risk travelling or bringing your dog out in the heat, I completely understand. Just drop me a message and I’ll happily arrange another date.

🐾 A Little Apology & Thank You 🐾

I just wanted to say a huge sorry to everyone whose appointments had to be postponed due to the recent heat. The welfare and comfort of the dogs always comes first, and with the temperatures being so high, it was the safest decision to make.

Thank you all so much for your patience and understanding – it really is appreciated. ❤️

If I haven’t already been in touch to rearrange your appointment, or if I’ve accidentally missed your message, please do give me a little nudge. It’s been a very busy few days, and I want to make sure everyone gets booked back in as soon as possible.

Today I’m celebrating a very special member of the family — my very own Elvis turning ONE! 🎉🐾

Elvis has filled our days with Zoomies, all of the naps, muddy paws, and endless love. Watching him grow over the last year has been such a joy, and I can’t think of a better way to celebrate than with a birthday groom and plenty of treats! 🛁🎂
