**Could your passion for dogs become a skill that genuinely changes lives?**

The College of Scent Dogs is delighted to present its Medical Alert Dog Handler & Instructor Programme, an intensive professional training opportunity for those looking to develop specialist skills in medical alert scent detection.

Imagine being able to train dogs to recognise and alert to specific odours associated with seizures, diabetic episodes and PTSD episodes, while also developing the knowledge and skills to teach others to do the same.

This is far more than another dog training qualification. It is an opportunity to develop a specialist area of expertise, build professional credibility and help people and their dogs achieve greater independence, confidence and peace of mind.

Delivered through three intensive weeks of face-to-face instruction, supported by ongoing resources, webinars and professional guidance, the programme combines the science of canine olfaction with practical, force-free and evidence-informed training methods.

Training takes place at Statfold Barn Railway, Staffordshire, with expert instruction and continued support beyond the classroom.

With flexible payment options available and limited places, this is an opportunity for committed dog professionals and aspiring specialists to take their knowledge in an exciting new direction.

If you are ready to explore a career where your understanding of canine scent detection could make a genuine difference to people's lives, we invite you to discover more.
