Christina's Furry Tales Christina's furry tales is all about love and care for your furry friends. My passion is to make every dog and cat look and feel fabulous 🐾🐶🐱🐾 Hello Pet Lovers!

Thank you for visiting Christina’s Furry Tales page. Let me introduce myself. My name is Christina and for the last 6 years, I live here, in beautiful Tamworth. For all of you who don’t know me by now here are a few words about me. I am a highly energetic individual with a great love for dogs and an inborn passion to work for pet welfare. As a professional groomer, I’m also insured, first aid trained and privileged to be a member of Bedworth Dog Training Club. Trained and qualified in Greece and in the UK, with 15 years of professional experience in high volume grooming environments in both countries, I have demonstrated ability to handle and groom to a high standard a variety of breeds from Miniature poodle to Newfoundland. I can provide for all your dog’s needs, well grooming wise at least :). Whether this means just a bath and a nail clip, or a full groom to breed standard or a hand strip, a dental cleaning treatment, or even a unique style that will make your beloved dog stand out from the crowd (Mohican, Hipster beards etc.). The products I use are natural and some of the best in the industry. I specialise in handling elderly dogs and dogs with health issues (diabetic, epileptic, tripods) and you can rest assured that your dog will have a pleasant grooming experience in a safe, clean and calm environment. My experience in dog training helps a lot with dogs that have behavioural issues. I will be happy to meet you and your dog and hear about any habits or needs he might have. After 15 years in this amazing job, I’ve learned that it’s not only the skill and the premium products that create an excellent grooming service but most of all are the love for dogs, and the dedication you put in their wellbeing. So, bring your little friend for a wonderful spa treatment. Christina

‼️Please Read‼️

This is a cat that needed to be clipped due to matting.
As you can see in the second photo there are white marks on the spots that were matted, the skin is thin, affected by poor blood circulation etc. These marks were not caused by the clippers, they were already there, the clipping just exposed them.
If you notice that your cat or dog is matted you should have them clipped asap. The longer you leave the matting the worse it gets and not only causes unnecessary stress but often leads to skin conditions who are more challenging to cure.
There’s no judgement here, as groomers we see cases like this more often than we would like but our main concern is to sort them out in the most appropriate manner for the animal.
For your information the 🐱 behaved really well and was also bathed and went home clean and happy 🐾✅
