⭐ Grass Seeds ⭐
Just a reminder to check your dogs for grass seeds this time of year. Unfortunately those tiny little things can cause big problems for dogs if they go unnoticed.
Their sharp, pointed shape allows them to easily become trapped in your dog’s:
👂 Ears
👁️ Eyes
🐾 Paws (especially between the toes)
👃 Nose
🦷 Mouth
🐕 Coat, armpits and under the collar or harness
Once a grass seed becomes embedded, it can work its way deeper into the body, leading to painful infections, abscesses, swelling & in some cases they need an op to remove them 🥺
