It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gracie.
Mr and Mrs Evans did everything they could to provide care and treatment for her, but sadly it became time to say goodbye

Gorgeous girl Silver would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas. It’s been an eventful year for her . If it was not for the dedication of her owners and the amazing support of the physios at Star Vets things could have been very different for her this year .

So Kirby and I have been working on commands and the whistle . Yesterday we went into a field of long grass and found a stray ball . We had a quick game , before I threw it and it was lost again . Today I told him today we would we be going back “ to find it!” .

So into the field we went . He remembered he had lost it and understood the task was to find it in the bracken and long grass . It took him about 7 minutes to find it . But he did ! Well done Kirby ⭐️ 🌟 ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

Today it was announced that Roxie a baby red panda in Edinburgh Zoo died on bonfire night due to terror at the recent fireworks. How many other animals are suffering because some individuals like to make a noise.

Can we be the voice for the terrified animals and pets that suffer every year due to fireworks. The animals that are left cowering behind sofas , in stables, needing sedatives, and even fear induced veterinary intervention.

Not to mention the extra strain on ambulance crews and A&E departments due to burns. The most likely age group to get burned is children under the age of 15. Most likely their hands and face get burned

An outright ban has already been rejected. But the next best thing is organised displays only. Let’s get them out of people back yards , out of the hands of children and irresponsible individuals.

If you think it’s time then please sign this petition and get your voice heard. 100,000 signatures are needed to get this into debate in Parliament.

Fireworks killed our mum, Josephine Smith. Her home was attacked using fireworks. We believe the use of fireworks after sale to the public cannot be policed. We think all displays should be licensed and sales limited to licence holders only.
