I understand journalists love to write headlines to grab your attention, but this one has irked me!
Its good to see Isibel Wessels say "harmony has always been in front of our minds"

But and its a big but as the article infers that less experienced judges need to be told what to look for.

I'm sorry but if any judge at any level can't have in their mind a definition of harmony dressage is a lost sport!

I see it every day and to the wonderful horses and riders I work with I just want to say.

" You define harmony the joy your horses experience from it make my job worthwhile"

What comes first ?
Asking someone to edit a musical transition over where you what your transition to be in your freestyle?
Or riding within the harmony of music and using the perfect harmonious transition to enhance that moment of in your test ?

For me always the 2nd but we're all different.
Try it both ways but only one involves asking your horse what works for them.

Perhaps your favourite breed is only your favourite, your sport isn't the only sport, your training isn't the only way.
All that matters is what the final outcome is and seeing your equine thrive.

Don't mark it down, dismiss it, argue about it simply because ' it's not your thing'
