The great cow ear debate... Hairy or Hairless? 🐶

Some dogs love a good chew. Others love a good chew with a little extra hair!

At Broadleaf, our popular natural cow ears come in two varieties:

🐾 Cow Ears – A simple, natural chew for dogs who love something satisfying to get their teeth into.

🐾 Hairy Cow Ears – The same chewing experience, but with the hair acting as a natural dewormer.

Both are great options for dogs who love to chew, offering an enjoyable way to keep them occupied, and both are high in protein and low in fat.

And with no need for unnecessary fuss, sometimes the simplest treats are the best!

💚 So, which would your dog choose — hairy or hairless?

Always supervise your dog when giving chews and choose a suitable size.

Little cats have big nutritional needs.

Those first months of growth are pretty important — which is why our Connoisseur Kitten Turkey & Chicken recipe has been developed specifically for growing kittens.

Made with 70% turkey & chicken, including freshly prepared deboned turkey, it provides high-quality protein to support healthy growth and development. It also includes:

🐾 DHA & EPA to support early brain and eye development
🐾 Vitamin E & taurine to support developing immune defences
🐾 Prebiotics to help support healthy digestion
🐾 Taurine to support normal heart development

And as your kitten grows up, there's plenty more to discover at Broadleaf.

Our Adult Cat Food range gives you a choice of recipes and flavours, while our new Peptide+ range offers three more targeted options for Urinary Care, Gastrointestinal Digestive Care, and Skin, Coat & Hairball Care.

From their first little bowl to their grown-up years, there's a Broadleaf recipe to discover. 💚

Fiona & Finlay ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We couldn't ask for a lovelier review to finish the week.

Fiona recently had to change Finlay's diet because of a urinary tract problem. After finishing his specialist diet, she tried another brand — but wasn't happy with the change she noticed in his coat.

So she returned to Broadleaf.

“Finlay's coat became dull so I reordered the Broadleaf and am delighted to say his glossy healthy coat has returned.”

Fiona also had some lovely words for the team:

“The company are helpful and courteous and cannot do enough to help one if needed.”

Thank you so much, Fiona. We're delighted to have Finlay back in the Broadleaf family. 💚

Reviews like this genuinely mean a lot to Julie and the team — particularly when we hear how our four-legged customers are getting on.

Welcome back, Finlay!

Not all dog treats have the same job! 🐾

Sometimes you need a small reward for training.

Sometimes you want something that'll keep them occupied for a little longer.

Sometimes they deserve a really good chew.

And sometimes... well, they've perfected that look and you give in!

That's why the Broadleaf natural treat range isn't one-size-fits-all.

From training treats and low-fat options to hairy treats, boredom busters, giant chews and treat selection boxes, there are now plenty of ways to find something to suit your dog.

And when we say natural, we mean it. Many of our treats are simply air-dried, with straightforward ingredients and no unnecessary extras — our Pure Meat Treats, for example, contain no added flavours, fillers, additives or preservatives.

So, what's your dog's treat style?

Small rewards?
A good long chew?
Something hairy?
Or perhaps something for bigger mouths?
