How many grooming tools have you bought, hoping that this one would finally work for your cat?
That is the problem I wanted to solve when we launched the Fabi Design Feline Excellence Pet Line at The Cat Show Live.
Every day, I see cat owners asking the same questions: “Which brush do I need?” “What is safe to use?” “Why does my cat hate being groomed?” With endless choices and conflicting advice, many are left alone to decide what may work — often with disappointing results, unused brushes and money wasted.
Many years ago, I was in exactly the same position. I simply wanted to do the best for my own cats, but did not know which tools to choose or the best approach to grooming.
Through years of professional grooming, education, showing and hands-on experience, I created a carefully considered everyday grooming system — not simply a box of brushes, but tools chosen to work together for gentle, confident grooming at home.
Cats are not small dogs. Their skin is delicate, and the wrong tools can make grooming uncomfortable. Today, I often have ten cats around me, waiting for their turn to be groomed — proof that, when it feels gentle and comfortable, cats can genuinely enjoy grooming too.
What has meant the most since our launch is the lovely feedback from the first Pet Line owners who attended our demonstrations and took their kits home. Their cats are enjoying grooming time, owners feel more confident, and what once felt like a battle is becoming a calm bonding time together.
