Look how far this lovely lady has come! 🐾❤️
Understanding dogs, reading their body language, and having patience are such huge parts of being a dog groomer.
At her first appointment, she was incredibly nervous and showed her fear through defensive, aggressive behaviour. Rather than rushing the process, I took the time to work at her pace, build her trust, and help her feel safe and comfortable with me.
Fast forward to now, and she happily gets up on the grooming table and actually enjoys her grooming experience! 🥹✂️🐶
This is why grooming is about so much more than just making a dog look beautiful. It’s about understanding them, respecting their boundaries, building trust, and helping them feel safe.
Patience, understanding and trust can make all the difference. ❤️🐾
